@edgarblythe,
Great one by Donovan. I recall when I was a kid I loved the line, "...come to my arms my beamish boy..." It made me laugh. Thanks, Texas

@George,
Latin George, Welcome back. Thinking about Rhys today and your having read To Kill a Mocking Bird and discussed it with him. Glad that you enjoy the songs we play here on our cyber radio.

Here's one by Hamp.

I saw a glimpse of Rusty Warren in that Hamp video. Surprised to see her. Back in the mid 60s lots of juvenile minded guys enjoyed her brand of comedy. Hamp is always very good.
Here is Louis Armstrong.

Actor Wesley Snipes is headed for jail after losing his appeal of a three-year prison sentence for failing to file income tax returns for 1999 through 2001.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, "sachmo" and Stardust. Great go togethers, edgar.

Strange, I'm surprised that Wesley Snipes got by with it for that long.

Here's one by George Shearing that I love. Notice how he finishes with a bit of Bach.

Shearing is an original. Here are three guys that are pretty original too.

@edgarblythe,
My word, edgar, they do make a neat trio. Bobby Darin was funny with his remarks. I didn't recognize Andy and Robert. (frankly, never cared for Goulet)

Here's one by Carlos Santana.

LOS ANGELES – Zsa Zsa Gabor's publicist says the 93-year-old actress has been rushed to a hospital after falling out of bed and breaking several bones.

John Blanchette says Gabor was watching television in her Bel Air home Saturday evening when she tumbled to the floor.

Her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, called an ambulance and Gabor was taken to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in unknown condition.

The actress is partially paralyzed from a 2002 car accident, which forced her to use a wheelchair. She also reportedly had a stroke in 2005.

@edgarblythe,
Good morning, WA2K and edgar.

Loved your goodnight song, buddy. Abilene by George Hamiltong IV is great.

Ah, poor Zsa Zsa. Hope she is not in too much distress. Hard to believe that she did High Heel Sneakers.

How about a little acoustic jazz for this morning, y'all.

Softly as in the Morning Sunrise:

Good one by Sonny Clark. Last evening it rained a lot. More forecast for today. Here is a song to wait for the rain to.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, that was the most beautiful song and the choir did a wonderful job with intonation and harmonies. Bravo!

No, John. It's been a while since I have seen the rain, although I was told last evening as we dined at The Outback, that a deluge had swept through that small area unexpectedly.

@edgarblythe,
Sugarfoot Rag was great, edgar, and once again you sent me to the cane fields.Smile

Don't recall ever having seen the TV series Sugarfoot, but I know that theme song. Couldn't find the version with lyrics, but here they are.

SUGARFOOT, SUGARFOOT, easy lopin', cattle ropin' SUGARFOOT,
Carefree as the tumbleweeds, ajoggin' along with a heart full of song
And a rifle and a volume of the law.

SUGARFOOT, SUGARFOOT, never underestimate a SUGARFOOT,
Once you got his dander up, ain't no one who's quicker on the draw.

You'll find him on the side of law and order,
From the Mexicali border, to the rolling hills of Arkansaw;

SUGARFOOT, SUGARFOOT, easy lopin', cattle ropin' SUGARFOOT,
Ridin' down to cattle town, a-joggin' a-long with a heart full of song
And a rifle and a volume of the law.

And from The Archies, y'all.

I have always liked Sugar Sugar by the Archies.
I watched Sugarfoot, the TV series. While I liked the star, I was not happy they were using Sugarfoot and Bronco Lane to alternate with Cheyenne. It was a result of Clint Walker's dispute with the studio and a way of phasing out of his show.

I used to not like the Judds, particularly, but they have been there so long, they managed to record some things I like.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, the visuals for Mama He's Crazy were strange. Never heard that one by The Judds, however.

Another appeal to "mama"
