That's one of Linda Ronstadt's better songs, letty.
I have Jacob here to tell us why he couldn't stop.

That Four Tops song used to be one of my wife's favorites. I guess it is still.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks again for your comments on what we play here, edgar.

Love that one by the glittering Commodores. Reminds me of Once, Twice, Three Times a lady (Letty). Thanks for the memory, Texas.

Speaking of easy, folks, how about a little easy jazz.

Don't know this sax player, but he is awesome.

That sounds nice letty. My grandson from Denver is here, so I don't know how much computer time I will get.

I believe I like this one better. Stevie sounded a mite childish on that version.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar, A great one by George Jones. "...the right left hand..." reminded me of this one.

http://il.youtube.com/watch?v=se_OpJhXPiE&feature=related

and the lyrics.

`twas on the Isle of Capri that I found her
Beneath the shade of an old walnut tree
Oh, I can still see the flow'rs bloomin' round her
Where we met on the Isle of Capri

She was as sweet as a rose at the dawning
But somehow fate hadn't meant her for me
And though I sailed with the tide in the morning
Still my heart's on the Isle of Capri

Summertime was nearly over
Blue Italian sky above
I said "Lady, I'm a rover,
Can you spare a sweet word o'love?"

She whispered softly "It's best not to linger"
And then as I kissed her hand I could see
She wore a plain golden ring on her finger
'twas goodbye at the Villa Capri

Blue Hawaii is one of Elvis's most popular projects. I think it the perfect vehicle for him. Isle of Capri is one I know and like.
