@Rockhead,
You sent me to the archives again mooseman.

Naturally 7 is an American music group with a distinct a cappella style they call "Vocal Play". They sing primarily R&B with extensive beat-boxing. Band members are Garfield Buckley, Rod Eldridge, Warren Thomas, Jamal Reed, Roger "N'glish" Thomas, Dwight Stewart, and Armand "Hops" Hutton. Former members are Marcus Davis and Andre Edwards.

I love the sound of that a capella seven. They are great. Thanks, Kansas, for the introduction.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs by the great Johnny Mathis.

First, Stars Fell on Alabama. (always think of William HenryIII when I hear this one)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bL1xkgmLKKo&feature=related

Now, Stella by Starlight.

Well, we had Paris with us today. Now where is Canada, London, and Wales?

Goodnight world,

From Letty with love

Good early and hot morning, WA2K.

edgar, Did not know one of those Japanese hit songs, but it was delightful watching and listenting to the montage. Thanks, Texas.

Well, here's our Brit back.

Great songs, London; John Illsley's Streets of Heaven and Melody Gardot's Baby I'm a Fool to Want you were wonderful, and yes, she did look a bit like Peggy in Roy's glasses.

Two songs for the early morning, y'all, and two versions by Nelson Eddy (birthday boy) and Bobby Darin.

Nelson:

Bobby:

Like Nelson's version better; perhaps it has to do with my mom

Good morning. Rain in store today, off of the storm in the gulf. Seems unlikely the actual hurricane will come inland here.

I like both versions of softly. Bobby is my main man, but I think he was a bit weak on it.

I loved Gary as Buddy Holly, with one reservation. I never did approve of allowing somebody else to cover the subject's music in a bio film. Buddy made the material popular and it's his work I came to appreciate.

I had just purchased Buddy Holly's last record when I heard about the plane crash over the radio.

The flip side of it was "Raining in My Heart."

@edgarblythe,
Well, edgar, I didn't see that movie and I didn't know about Buddy Holly until Don McClean.

Oops, Brit, I peeked and saw and listened to Stanley Clarke's School Days. We'll dedicate that one to Tai Chi. Smile

Enjoyed that one by Buddy. Doesn't Matter any More is a new one to me.

Thinking about Butterflys are Free today, y'all, cause they were everywhere fluttering and darting about.

Sting has something to say about those lovely flying flowers.

Hi guys, I'm back!

It was my own stupid fault. Since I never usually log out, I had forgotten my password. I just found it written down somewhere, and know the correct one now. Embarrassed

Thanks, Letty, for posting for me.

@Reyn,
Just glad that you're back, Reyn. we can use the rain here. Smile

sometimes sun the only one that I knew of your entire entourage was "The Little Sparrow's" If you love me. I don't know why I know that either. Here are the English lyrics.

If the sun should tumble from the sky
If the sea should suddenly run dry
If you love me, really love me
Let it happen I won't care

If a dream I fear should fall apart
I can still be smiling with my heart
If you love me, really love me
Let it happen darling I won't care

Shall I catch a shooting star
I bring it where you are
If you only say you care
I can make a mountain fall
I'll do anything at all
As long as you are there

When at last my life on earth is through
I will share eternity with you
If you love me, really love me
Let it happen
Darling, I won't care

When at last my life on earth is through
I will share eternity with you
If you love me, really love me
Let it happen
Darling, I won't care

Let it happen
Darling, I won't care.

Wanna feed the birds?

I sure felt silly after seeing my correct password written down elsewhere. I had totally forgotten about it!

As for rain, not too much here lately. Weather is still cool for this time of year, but I'm sure it will heat up soon.
