@edgarblythe,
Sea Cruise by Frankie Ford was great, edgar. As we have often observed here on our cyber radio, the classics are some of the best.

How about shifting gears for a moment.

Inspired by your link to the poem, I came up with this.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, The Swing Kings, edgar. So Rare touches a tiny bit of my RNA.

My word, Song of India in fast four four time.

@Izzie,
On an Elton kick, Izzie? Promise not to play I Get a Kick Out of You. Smile

Anytime is the right time for Sir Elton.

My students said that this was my theme song. Thanks for the memory, Miss Brit.

@Letty,
Gosh Letty - I had never heard that one before Shocked and I thought I was a huge fan of Elton!

Here's George and Elton (I know I've played this before, but I love this one)

@Izzie,
I have been a huge fan of Elton and David Bowie for a long time, hun. I remember your having played Elton and George doing Don't Let the Sun go Down on Me. I really liked that one.

Love this one by Sir Elton as well.

@Rockhead,
Good to see you back, Mooseman. Damn, I don't know that "swing" song, but your porch swing reminded me of Leon. Love this one.

@edgarblythe,
Cozy Cole of the Metropole? My Gawd, edgar, we went there when in NYC.

Loved that song, but I don't remember one thing about him.

edgar, that nine pound hammer reminded me of John Henry. Tried to find that one to match your Merle. No luck.

My goodness, our Izzie is on a roll. Love Catch a Falling Star by mr. laid back Como, and The Who's Owl song was great.

Jumpin' Jack Flash with George and Leon was great, hun.

I can see why you like Jack Johnson, gal. You and your Heart was exquisite.

Here's that mooseman back with Sir Elton's The Captain and the kid. Don't know that one either, buddy.

I need to cross the street and sit on my neighbor's dock with Otis, y'all.
