Good morning, WA2K radio.

Came into the studio this morning and found lots of fan mail for edgar who did such a wonderful job hosting our cyber radio station while the pd/producer dined at Outback.

My word, I had forgotten about Sadie Thompson. The marine song was one that I did NOT know. "..if the army and the navy ever looks on heaven's scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines.."

Wow! Leonard Cohen breaks all the rules. Greensleeves was altered a bit to reflect it.

MacArthur Park by Richard brings back some memories. Thanks again.

Oh, my goodness. Rod and his Maggie May does as well.

Hey, LOL.Welcome back. Love September song by Billy. Great chord changes in that one.

Unfortunately, the summer solstice celebration at Stonehenge has been canceled due to lack of funding.

Just noticed that are blazing wildfires in Arizona. Hope all is well with those who had to be evacuated.

Two songs for the morning, y'all.

First a birthday boy.

Now, Wildfire.

@Barry The Mod,
Ah, Brit. What a great song by Leon, Ray, and Willie. Love it. Michael Buble also did that one.

Postcard from London was fabulous. Never heard Ray and Chrissie before, buddy, but they were excellent. Thanks for the introduction.

Today is Billy Davis ,Jr.'s birthday, and here is another duet, y'all.

Ah, the Brit and the Texan are funny today. Loved Food Glorious Food from Oliver (did you have a "Twist" of lemon in your tea?Smile)
Loved that version of She's Like the Wind from Dirty Dancing, too.
It was that Ray guy's birthday and he used to sing with The Kinks.

I could play one from the "windy" city, but think that I shall do another instead, folks.

Oops, missed edgar's Cold Cold Heart. One of my favs from Hank.

I been out back, putting roundup on poison oak. After I spent the winter killing it and digging it up, it came back with a vengeance. Poison was the only recourse, if I want to use that property.

This is the only video I found that features the original version of Poison Ivy. I advise to listen to the audio, but ignore the video portion.
