@edgarblythe,
Same from me Miss Iz.

edgar, I love The Band, but I didn't know that one buddy.

I had to smile when Izzie played New York Minute by The Eagles. Perfect timing dancing queen.

Hey, y'all. How about some opera?

Kept both my appointments. Found out I had "fat" blood and the CPA didn't help a bit with my IRA. <sigh>

Remember when they used to hook people off the stage? Smile

Don't forget to listen to that opera, Texas.

Here's the way it oughta be, buddy.

I used to prefer to avoid Billy Joel. But, I heard this song enough that I slowly came to like his songs.
I did listen to that one, letty. It was very good.
Carol King , now.

@edgarblythe,
Love You've Got a Friend, edgar. That was particularly nice with James and Carole. Thanks Texas.

Well, it's time for me to say goodnight, and I'm going to do so with two songs. First another duet by that delightful duo.

Now, a fantastic classic inspired by this movie. I have never seen it, but the classical piece was awesome.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0047408/fullcredits

Sorry for the rather abrupt ending, folks.

I just happened to catch a glimpse of it on AMC and it enthralled me.

To all of you everywhere,

From Letty with love

Good morning WA2K folks.

edgar, Loved your goodnight song by The Band. There was a time that I would have loved to be back in Virginia rockin' chair and all.Smile

Hey, Brit. Very unusual contributions today, but I, for one, enjoyed them. Pail Drummers, Tap Dogs and Priscilla's version of I Will Survive. Love Herb Alpert's This Guy's in Love With You, but it was rather sad to see Ken and Karen remember him.

Francis, Welcome back. Yep, Dusty's If you Go Away was awesome. I had no idea about her real name, however.

edgar, Thanks again for the dates in history. Will comment later, Texas, after I review them.

Guess whose birthday is today, y'all.

Inspired by Philis on Roberta's Beautiful Animals.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcyzr3zJol4&feature=related

Build thee more stately mansions, O my soul,
As the swift seasons roll!
Leave thy low-vaulted past!
Let each new temple, nobler than the last,
Shut thee from heaven with a dome more vast,
Till thou at length art free,
Leaving thine outgrown shell by life's unresting sea!
