Thanks for the Stevie Ray Vaughan song, dys. Pretty good guitar although I still prefer the acoustic kind.

This one was inspired by edgar and Francis. I recall The Necklace by Guy de Maupassant. What a horrible irony.

Seals and Croft and then Hall and Oates - I like both of those songs. Bringing Mr Duroy to Life was an interesting video.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks once again for your comments on the music that we play here, edgar.

Joan Baez and Mimi Farina's a capella duet Bed Of Roses was excellent.

More synchronicity, y'all.

Guess who is being honored today.

PARIS " The widow of legendary marine explorer Jacques Cousteau said Tuesday she is trying to relaunch his iconic ship the Calypso " sunk, badly damaged and now in rehab " in time to mark the centennial of his birth.

Aboard the Calypso, Cousteau unlocked the mysteries of the sea for tens of millions of TV viewers in the 1960s and 1970s with his riveting documentary series, "The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau."

Francine Cousteau and the Cousteau Society announced a year of events what would have been the 100th birthday of the undersea pioneer, who with his red cap for a time became synonymous with the underwater universe.

Here's one by John Denver that is an excellent tribute.

No, edgar, but it's a toss up between Harry and Julio. Love them both.

Saying goodnight with another island song. The visuals are from Pensacola Beach. <sigh>

Mornin' everyone and edgar.

Don't know Mae Barnes, but she is great. True Blue Lou was a winner, Texas.

Today is Johnny Depp's birthday, so here is a tribute to him.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! That was some super bowl, edgar. The Dorita kid was BRAVE. Thanks, Texas.

Ah, my favorite composer, y'all. Two songs by Cole Porter, then Letty has to prepare for the doc (no, not hook)

My telling song.
