Good version of the Jackson Browne song, letty.
I never heard Ella sing Misty either. She's very good on it.

@edgarblythe,
I love the oldies, edgar. Frank Stokes' I'm Going Away Blues was great. It's the early blues men and women that laid the ground work for what we have today.

Practical advice for the evening, y'all.

Want it to rain? wash your car and water your grass.

want to smell ozone? listen to the lightning.

Well, our Brit has woooshed and left us with a phantom. Yikes! Nightwish is from Findland. Fabulous!

So good to see and hear all of you on our cyber radio.

dj, B. the B. lovely Brook, and Texas' eyes are always on us. Nice to have Rockymoose back with us as well.

Time for me to say goodnight and I think I shall do so with two songs.

First a tribute to Mario Lanza.

Now one by my favorite bus driver.

Thanks to all of you everywhere on our forum.

From Letty with love

Jose Carreras sounds every bit as good as Mario, to me, and I love Mario's voice.
And I enjoy Matt Monroe as much as you do.

@edgarblythe,
Good morning, WA2K.

edgar, that was a great oldie by George. I love Ain't Misbehavin, and he did a great job with it.

Well, I was up all night again. Threats of water spouts and tornadoes in my area.

I heard this last evening from an episode of Cold Case. It's eerie, but seems to fit the situation somehow.

Another afternoon session on WA2K.

Two birthday boys that go together nicely.

First, John James Audubon.

Nice Audubon video, letty.
I was informed by a friend that Bobby Rydel gave up performing for the church. Don't know for sure.
Riders on the Storm is one of only a few Doors songs I really like.

@edgarblythe,
I never heard the John Mayer trio, edgar, but upon doing some research those vultures may have been a reference to the illuminati. Ah, the all seeing eye.

Thanks for the introduction, buddy.

Is it a BIRD? Is it a plane? nope it's Tom Welling, folks.

I watched Smallville's first season. I still view it a few times a year. It is for the young ones among us. But in some ways I think it's better than some of the Superman films out there.

@edgarblythe,
Yep, my kids watched Smallsville, edgar, and I watched it once in a while.

Loved Break My Mind by Jerry Lee. Reminds me that today is Duane Eddy's birthday, and he did the instrumental of Freight Train.

Think I'll do a rebel rouser by him, however. Great guitarist, y'all.

My word, just saw that he did the theme to Paladin.

First time I noticed Duane Eddy, he did the theme to Because They're Young, which starred Dick Clark.

@edgarblythe,
Welcome back, dys. Link Wray's Rumble was odd. Banned? that's odd too, cowboy.

I recall that one by Stevie Ray Vaughan. Too bad about the helicopter crash.

Thanks again for Duane Eddy's guitar piece.

Speaking of young, today is Jon Lee's birthday. Here is one by him.
