It's good they saved so many of them Chinese miners. Unfortunately, the next mine they go into may be just as unsafe. They lose a lot of miners over there.

Here's one a few of you may remember. It's the original - though other versions were popular here a long time ago.

The incomparable Edith Piaf.

edgar, thanks so much for keeping our little cyber radio on the air.

Incidentally, Texas. Who's Bob Dylan?

Oh, that's right. I was thinking of Dylan Thomas.

Black Diamond Bay and Every Grain of Sand were truly good. (Mooseman; quit teasing us; er make that quit teasing edgar) Thanks for the big smile you give us here on WA2K radio, Kansas.

As I Lay Me Down and the Sixth Ave. Heartache were wonderful. Don't know them, so thanks for the introduction, buddy.

I have really come to enjoy Timi Yuro.

Welcome back, George ob 1. Ah, The little sparrow Edith Piaff. Love her, and I most certainly know that song, buddy.

Was truly surprised that "the crooner" did Blue Hawaii.

Hope I didn't miss any of the great music that was played today.

Time for me to say goodnight, y'all, and here's a quick translation of Edith's great song.

I am still stunned that she wrote it!

Goodnight to all of you everywhere,

From Letty with love

Morning Ms Letty,Ed and all WA2K folks.Starting at the music News Desk....

"Bob Dylan has cancelled his planned tour of Asia this month after he was refused permission to play in China.

The legendary musician was to take his 'Never Ending' tour to Beijing, Shanghai, Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong, reports the Daily Star.

Officials in the Chinese government reportedly refused to grant the folk star permission to play gigs in Shanghai and Beijing, leading Dylan to cancel all of his planned Asian dates.

Jeffrey Wu, of Taiwan-based promotion company Brokers Brothers Herald, said: "The chance to play in China was the main attraction for [Dylan]. When that fell through everything else was called off.

"What Björk did definitely made life very difficult for other performers. They are very wary of what will be said by performers on stage now."

China's Ministry of Culture has been especially careful about vetting overseas artists after Björk made a protest about China's occupation of Tibet during a concert in Shanghai.

Oasis were denied permission to play in China last year because guitarist Noel Gallagher had appeared at a Tibet freedom concert 12 years earlier."

Forgive me lover
For I have sinned
For I have done you wrong
For I have hurt
Beyond repair
When tears occurred
No I didn’t care
Forgive me lover
For I have sinned
For I have loved you wrong
But this estranged organ in my chest
Still beats for you
It will not rest, so
Meet me in our secret place
When the time has come
And rest your head
In my lap
And I’ll lead you out of your own trap
And I’ll show you how much
You have missed through the
Time we weren’t right
So forgive me lover
For I have sinned
For I have let you go
But You’ve been every now and then on my mind yeah
Every now and then on my mind yeah
On my mind

@Barry The Mod,
Thanks, Mr. Woosh man for the songs and the info.

Especially enjoyed Queen's Hoover song. Gave me a big smile this morning.

Today is Andre Previn's birthday, so here is a version of Skylark that's a bit upbeat. (enjoy it more as a jazz ballad, however)
