@edgarblythe,
Just checked that out, edgar. Didn't know that his son had been killed in a plane crash.

Be sure and check out Dirk. I always value your opinion, buddy.

Here's a tribute to Dino.

A lot of folks have done that one.

@edgarblythe,
Thanks for keeping us on the air, edgar. Listened to Buffy, and I love the lyrics.

Yep, a lot of folks have done For the Good Times. Let's hope their will be more of them.

Gonna say goodnight with Tennyson. Love his poem set to music.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

Up early this morning because I'm entertaining guests.

edgar, don't know Robin Luke, but I enjoyed his "Susie Darlin'" especially the visuals.

Welcome back, Brit. Really like Peter Gabriel, buddy. I Think It's Going to Rain Today (Scratch my back) was great. Just found out that he played flute with the cat man.

Don't know Minnie Riperton, but Memory Band is awesome. Thanks.

A Couple of songs for this early morning.

First, to match our Brit's Peter Gabriel.

Now, a tribute to one fine vocalist whose birthday is today.

Peter Gabriel is a good artist. The only Minnie song I knew prior to this AM was Loving You. Thanks for Pearl Bailey, letty. I have always liked her.

@Letty,

I had no idea that Robert Mitchum could sing.

He also wrote and sang this classic song about moonshiners...

Thanks, Brit, for Let Me Entertain You. That's a version that I've never heard.

My word, panz and edgar, of course I've heard Thunder Road. I think is was Robert's calypso that threw me.

edgar, love all the songs you play here on WA2K radio. I guess my favorites today were Share the Land and To To's Africa.

Not certain which song panz duplicated, however.

Been a busy day here, but now I have a brief respite
