@edgarblythe,
Ah, Silent Spring. Lovely, edgar, and it reminds me of Rachel Carson. Shall we end the silence now.

That's supposed to be a cat lurking around a cuckoo clock. Love it!

Wonder where Ticomaya is lurking?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcsSPzr7ays&feature=related

And, y'all, the lyrics.

OH, TICO TICO, TICK!
OH, TICO TICO, TOCK!
THIS TICO TICO, HE'S THE CUCKOO IN MY CLOCK.
AND WHEN HE SAYS "CUCKOO,"
HE MEANS IT'S TIME TO WOO,
IT'S TICO TIME FOR ALL THE LOVERS ON THE BLOCK.

I'VE GOT A HEAVY DATE,
A TETE A TETE AT EIGHT,
SO SPEAK, OH, TICO, TELL ME IF IT'S GETTING LATE?
IF I'M ON TIME, CUCKOO,
BUT, IF I'M LATE, WOO-WOO!
THE ONE MY HEART IS GONE TO MAY NOT WANT TO WAIT!

FOR JUST A BIRDIE, AND A BIRDIE WHO GOES
NOWHERE,
HE KNOWS OF EVERY LOVER'S LANE AND HOW TO GO
THERE;
FOR IN AFFAIRS OF THE HEART
MY TICO'S TERRIBLY SMART,
HE TELLS ME: "GENTLY, SENTIMENT'LY AT THE
START!"

OH, OH, I HEAR MY LITTLE TICO TICO CALLING
BECAUSE THE TIME IS RIGHT AND SHADES OF NIGHT
ARE FALLING.
I LOVE THAT NOT-SO-CUCKOO CUCKOO IN THE CLOCK,
TICO TICO TICO TICO TICO TOCK!!!

Tai Chi, my Mamma sang all of the hymns. My daddy sang more like a rounder.

Well, as the dys knows, I love Leonard Cohen. I did Suzanne and he loved it in the days when he liked me.

Time for me to say goodnight

Another classical, y'all.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

Wow! I didn't know that Leadbelly did "In the Pines". I always thought that song went, "..in the mines..." Thanks, edgar, and Hey Jude is one of my favorites as well.

Hey, mooseman. Don't know Tom Petty nor his song Billy the Kid. Thanks for the introduction.

Amazing, JPB, that Tchaikovsky did that theme from Romeo and Juliet. " A Time for Us" I do like what that person who commented said about the absence of lyrics, however.

Ah, Brit, Vivaldi's Four Seasons is wonderful. Hmmm, got a couple of songs that are stuck in my head, and once again, I don't know why I know them. "Welcome sweet spring time we greet thee in song." Also, Marching Along together". Need to do more research I guess.

UhOh! Wonder if Bebel Gilberto is any kin to Astrud. Night and Day never gets over-played to me, London, and Ringo in Liverpool was great.

Today is Miriam Makeba's birthday. Never heard her before, but she is excellent.

I love Miriam Makeba. I first became familiar with her when she came here from Johannesburg and performed with Belafonte. Her Click Song was her first single to be widely notice. Pata Pata was one of her biggest selling records.

@edgarblythe,
Once again, edgar, hurry back. That beautiful song by Harry and Miriam is perfect for the beginning of the day. Thanks, Texas.

Finally found Marching Along Together, y'all, but it's too slow loading

So, since this is command day(March forth) let's hear from Johnny.
