@Letty,
I saw Tommy Tune on Broadway at the one and only Broadway show I ever saw. Don't recall now what the show was but it was enjoyable. Here he is with Gregory Hines (who I really like) and the Boston Pops

@JPB,
It was "My One and Only" with Tune and Twiggy

The opening night cast included Tune, Twiggy, Roscoe Lee Browne, Denny Dillon, and Charles "Honi" Coles. Notable replacements during the run included Sandy Duncan, Don Correia, Jeff Calhoun, and Georgia Engel.

He must be close to 7' tall and Twiggy was... well... short. Certainly short in comparison.

@tsarstepan,
I faithfully listen to Car Talk even though I neither know nor care about cars...other than that mine should start each day.
The Puzzler this week involves Tom going to Ray's house to pick up some chicken soup to take to their sick sister. They couldn't find a container with a tight fitting lid, so Tom sets the container on the floor and drives to his own house, very carefully, to avoid spillage. He ends up having supper, watches tv, falls asleep on the couch and forgets about the soup for several hours. Finally, he wakes up and drives helter-skelter to the sister's place without fear of spilling a drop.
Why? Easy one this week, I think. The soup had frozen.

@realjohnboy,
gram saves me her newspapers after she completes her puzzles, and I use 'em to start the fire in the shop.

except saturdays. I read click and clack first. I don't always agree with their advice, but their humour is alwys spot on.

edgar, don't know Tommy Steele, but his A Handful of Songs was great.

JPB, welcome again, Chicago. Rhythm is my business with Tommy and Gregory
was awesome. Yep, Tommy Tune is tall. Glad that you got to see Tommy live and in concert.

Hey, John of Virginia. Funny little story. Thanks.

Well, Rockymoose. Good to have you and the squirrel together again.

Steve Martin and Gregory doing Fit as a Fiddle and Ready for Love brought back some memories.

Speaking of rhythm, y'all, here is one by the late, great Dorothy Dandridge.

rhythm is the only word that I know with no vowels unless you count "and sometimes Y"

Long ago I worked in a jingle studio in Washington DC. The job was mind numbing repetition dotted by moments of pure terror.

edgar, that was one funny commercial. Muscle relaxant beats the hell out of steroids. Hurry back, Texas.

Panz, is it fate?

Could have played the English version, but I love the sound of the romance languages.

@edgarblythe,
Great song, edgar. Mean Woman by both Elvis and Jerry Lee. Loved em both, Texas.

Here's a shocker, folks. A tribute to Brian Jones who died at twenty seven. He was the original founder of the Rolling Stones.

Today is his birthday.

Love Brian Hyland's Gypsy Woman, edgar.

Well, folks, tomorrow is March 1, and they say that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.
