I’m gone fishing
I got me a line
Nothing I do is gonna make the difference
So I’m taking the time
And you ain’t never gonna be happy
Anyhow, anyway
So I’m gone fishing
And I’m going today
I’m gone fishing
Sounds crazy I know
I know nothing about fishing
But just watch me go
And when my time has come
I will look back and see
Peace on the shoreline
That could have been me
You can waste a whole lifetime
Trying to be
What you think is expected of you
But you’ll never be free
May as well go fishing

Two pieces of music that I can't seperate. One always reminds me of the other.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFbsZu7ZN7A
Colm Wilkinson - Bring Him Home from Les Mis
edgar, Love Judy Collins' "Turn, Turn, Turn." Thanks, buddy.
Hey Brit. Never heard Chris Rea before, but Gone Fishin was awesome. Great aria type song by Colm Wilkinson from Les Miz. What a voice! Puccni's Humming song from Madam Butterfly was fantastic as well.
Tai Chi, Isn't "fatha" Hines great?
JLN, Welcome back, and I'll give you a link to the new feature on A2K later, buddy.
Today is Carole King's birthday, and I can't think of a better one to play than this one.
I like Carol King's music. Never heard her do one I didn't like.

I present to you all a favorite of mine, Ida Maria. I enjoy much of her music and Ida Maria is reported to have the neurological phenomenon of synesthesia which, in her case, means she envisions colours when she hears music. During practices she is known to stop the band and say, "This is supposed to be purple not green."

edgar, love My Little Corner of the World by Anita. Too bad that she got in financial trouble with her outspoken ways. Thanks, buddy.
seed, welcome back. Never heard Ida Maria, but Keeps Me Warm was great. Another Swedish Nightingale. Wow! she thinks in color? Amazing, buddy, because today is Alice Walker's birthday, so here is a tribute to The Color Purple. Will never understand how Out of Africa won the oscar and not that movie.
Great one by Prince, edgar. Good lookin' dude, ain't he. Thanks, buddy.
Hope you don't mind if your PD/Producer changes colors in mid stream, but today is Ronald (Colman/Coleman)'s birthday, and I thought about Raggedy and Lost Horizon. Don't often watch PBS, but this particular night I was quite interested in the things found in Shangri La.
edgar, Those guys are GREAT! Wish they had done that one a capella so everyone here could recognize their talent. The Letterman did that one as well, but they were better.
Thinking about JPB today, and it's raining here. I did walk in it briefly to get my mail.
Gooooooooooooooood Evening LettyBettyLetty, Edgar, Baz, Panz and all the WA2K folksies...

Chiquitita, you and I know
How the heartaches come and they go and the scars they're leaving
You'll be dancing once again and the pain will end
You will have no time for grieving
Chiquitita, you and I cry
But the sun is still in the sky and shining above you
Let me hear you sing once more like you did before
Sing a new song, Chiquitita
Try once more like you did before
Sing a new song, Chiquitita
Try once more like you did before
Sing a new song, Chiquitita

Hi, izzie. Good one.
I like that version of Fool on the Hill about the same as the Beatles version.
