Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, Don't know the Frogman, but I do know that The Mills Brothers sang that one, too.

Your Immigrant song reminded me of the one by Neil Sedaka.

Rocky, definitely know the Rooftop Singers. Really like "Walk Right In". Didn't know that it was from Forest Gump, however.

Hey Brit. The only one that I recognize of your trio is John , but Rod Stewart's Same Old Song was great. I guess you're climbing The Golden Apples of the Sun. Laters, buddy.

Well, folks, a couple of songs for the morning. One was inspired by Cold Case and the episode was a re-run and very sad.

Love this one by KC and The Sunshine Band. We'll dedicate this one to our Kickycan.

Today is Kenny Loggins' birthday, so here is a great one by him, y'all.

Urs, Welcome back. Loved that one by Reamon. I'll bet your Swede would walk a million miles for one of your smiles.

Ah, Rocky. Great one by Kenny. Reminds me of Christopher Robin is saying his prayers. Thanks, buddy.

Ticomaya, what a nice surprise. I guess our panz played that one for you.

Thanks, panz for another great Kenny song.

Well, today is Nicholas Cage's birthday, so here is a tribute to that great actor.

@Rockhead,
Ah, Rockymoose. I thought that I had seen somewhere that you had been married before. Didn't see Valley Girl with Nick. Wasn't he Coppola then?I recall that valley girl speak:

whatever, as if, etc.

Not that Prince Gautam would be interested, but let's listen to this anyway. (as if)

That's pretty good, letty. Particularly the pictorial. Here is one more Texas, narrowing the focus a bit.

@edgarblythe,
Wow! Loved that tour of Huston, edgar, and Sir Paul was great on that one. "Listen to What the Man Says" is one that I haven't heard before.

Time for me to say goodnight,and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First, a requiem for the Alamo.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFB282rbUwg&feature=related

Now, a classical piece replete with flute.

As always,

From Letty with love

@Barry The Mod,
Good morning, WA2K.

Hey Brit. I'm not one bit surprised that Endeavor is delayed. I have never seen it so cold here. Thanks for the update, buddy.

Speaking of temperatures, y'all, it is the cold night of the iguanas.

And, a tribute to David Bowie whose birthday is today. This guy is doing a great impersonation of him.
