Good morning, WA2K folks.

Thanks to all of you for the Happy New Year's messages to our listeners.

Rex, particularly liked your original poem and The Gregorian Imagine. Thanks, Maine.

Hey, Brit. Nancy Wilson is one of my favorite vocalist. Especially like her version of Guess Who I Saw Today my Dear but enjoyed her Sunshine as it is raining here.

Well, everyone left today except my daughter, and if the weather is not inclement, guess she'll fly home this weekend sometime.

Today is Frank Langella's birthday, so here is a tribute to him, y'all.

Back later with a new discovery, The Old Crow Medicine Show.

Thanks for Morning Has Broken. One of my top favorite songs.
Frank Langella is another actor I barely recognize. I guess I just don't see many of the kind of films he makes.

Here is Joshua Radin with a nice song about a new day.

Prosit to you as well, George. Loved that one by the Cat.

edgar, Great one by Josh Radin. Yep, every day is a brand new day.

Wow, dj. U2's New Year's Day was fantastic. Just found out that Francois Kevorkian was a French dj.

Now, y'all, here is the new discovery.

Came here to post U2 --- it's been done already (twice, at least) so I'll just wish everyone a Happy New Year and a healthy 2010.

edgar, While My Guitar Gently Weeps was great. Wonderful tribute to George Harrison, buddy

Rex, really like that one by Carly and James' daughter, and as JPB noted, U2 has been done here, but it's worth listening to again. Thanks, Maine.

JPB, Thanks for that dedication. You're a squirrel of compassion.

Watched Johnny Depp in John Dillinger, y'all, and although this is NOT the same Lady in Red that was blackmailed into betraying him, it's a nice song.

@JPB,
Lovely one by the FAB FOUR, JPB. As I have often noted, "Love is reflected in love."

Free as a bird, y'all.

Very nice, Miss L.

Another on the theme -- all you need is love and imagine are components of this one.

@JPB,
All you need is love and Imagine. Great one, Miss squirrel.

Did you know that The Beatles got their name from Buddy Holly's crickets?

Imagine this, y'all.
