Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, that is one of my favorite songs by Sam. Thanks, buddy.

Hey, Brit. Don't know Joan Armatrading, but "Love and Affection" is awesome. Thanks for the introduction. "It doesn't Often Snow at Christmas" is fantastic, and The Pet Shop Boys along with that "boys" choir was enough to make me want to see it snow here.

Well, upon my word. Guess whose birthday is today, y'all. I had no idea that Mr. Dylan had a son.

I like some of Jakob's work, but don't listen to him regularly. That's one of his good ones you played, letty.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, some I like by Babs; some I don't. Don't much care for that one, but I loved My Man by her.

Hey, Texas. Can't believe you missed this birthday boy, and he's still with us.

My son has lately been working with a friend to form a band. They will do original songs and feature a female vocalist. I have not heard them together as yet.

@edgarblythe,
Don't know Joe Piscapo, edgar, but I certainly know Summer Winds. They're all over the place down here today, Texas.(the winds and the high was 81)

Wow! Great about your son. Hope it works out for him.

We'll dedicate this one to him then. It's Donny Osmond's birthday and he's doing an oldie with Olivia Newton-John. Not bad, y'all.

Then my goodnight song.

@Letty,
Donny and Olivia - not bad together
I'm guessing there was a Christopher Robin film. The kids are good.

So if we all come together, we know what to do
We all come together, just to sing we love you
And if we all come together, we know what to do
We all come together just for you

Racing all around the seven seas
Chasing all the girls and making robberies
'Causing panic everywhere they go
Party-hardy on Titanic

Sailing, sailing, jumping off the railing
Drinking, drinking 'till the ship is sinking
Gambling, stealing, lots of sex-appealing
Come, let us sing the sailor-song

So if we all come together, we know what to do
We all come together, just to sing we love you
And if we all come together, we know what to do
We all come together just for you

Sailorman, you really turn me on
Now the guys are gone, come and let us get it on
Girls like me are pretty hard to find
So if you go, I'll kick your Heine

Sailing, sailing, jumping off the railing
Drinking, drinking 'till the ship is sinking
Gambling, stealing, lots of sex-appealing
Come, let us sing the sailor-song

So if we all come together, we know what to do
We all come together, just to sing we love you
And if we all come together, we know what to do
We all come together just for you

Now, let's fight!
Ha, that's not a knife, this is a knife!
eik!!!

Sailing, sailing, jumping off the railing
Drinking, drinking 'till the ship is sinking
Gambling, stealing, lots of sex-appealing
Come, let us sing the sailor-song

So if we all come together, we know what to do
We all come together, just to sing we love you
And if we all come together, we know what to do
We all come together just for you

I'm king of the world! woohoo!
Wow, this was great!
Yeah, baby, you can sail my ship

So if we all come together, we know what to do
We all come together just for you... Yeah!

Good late morning, WA2K.

edgar, the Toy Box song with lyrics was awesome. I think we all love sailor songs on our wee cyber radio.

That tribute to Vincent was also fantastic. I never think of him that I don't think of Don McLean. Thanks.

Well, our Brit's done wooshed, but a note on his contributes. I, for one, have never heard Gabriella's "Warm This Winter" as a Christmas song. Not bad, London.

My favorite, I think, was by the fabulous Oscar Peterson.

Timely that our Texas man did Vincent, because today is one of my favorite poet's birthday.

Here's a tribute to her, y'all.

@Letty,
That was a beautiful tribute to Miss Dickenson's secrets, Miss Letty. Indeed, she had a very secluded life.

I was just listening to RH's Lenny Kravitz song and found this that I thought you would enjoy.

Today is also Susan Dey's birthday. Although she had a second career on L.A. Law, I mostly remember her from her role as Laurie on the Partridge Family. She played keyboard and backup vocals on the show. Here's a tribute video to Susan and David Cassidy

@JPB,
Welcome back, Miss squirrel. I love that Butterfly song. I remember once giving my two kids butterfly kisses. I have heard that if one stands quite still a butterfly may land on your shoulder. Noticed that Lenny also did "Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone." The visuals were awesome as well. I especially like the two red cherries as they reminded me that I use to climb our sour cherry tree and eat them right off the branches.

I remember Susan Dey, but I had to search out the Partridge Family, gal. Recall David's "I Think I Love You". Thanks for the reminder and the tribute.

You inspired me to look for this one, and what I found was hilarious, y'all.
