It has been a while since I listened to H Mancini, letty. Here is one of his famous themes.

@edgarblythe,
That is a beautiful theme, edgar. Didn't see Sunflower nor could I find it. Henry Mancini did some glorious one, including Windmills of Your Mind.

Here is a tribute to Sofia, a beautiful woman.

Yep; Sophia is beautiful, and an interesting actress. I like most everything she does.

I just realized: You have to be careful when searching for Tony Martin's music. Laughing

@edgarblythe,
I know what you mean, edgar. The Spirit of Night by Tony with Black Sabbath was nice however. Of course you know which Tony I thought you meant.

I just researched Rosemary Clooney's life, and I cannot believe how sad it was. Had no idea that the lady had such problems. George Clooney, her nephew, attened her funeral.

Well, folks, here's the Tony that I like.

edgar, don't recall The Fleetwoods, but everyone knows Ron Howard. What a great career he has made for himself since Happy Days

Rock, didn't know they did that song either, Kansas.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with two songs.

First Fleetwood Mac.(that was inspired by your Fleetwood)

Now one that I have always loved.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

Rock, thanks for that goodnight song.

dys, my son always loved that one. When he was a kid, he somehow had a fear of lions and that Lion Sleeps Tonight, gave him comfort.

Here's one by a legend, y'all.

Great memories of Joy of Cooking.

Here's the original Brownsville from the great Sleepy John Estes.

Thanks, dys and panz for the interesting music.

Today is Johnny Mandel's birthday, and although he is probably best remembered for his theme from Mash, I like this one that he composed and a fantastic jazz lady performs and plays on piano.

@Letty,
Good morning, Miss Letty and listeners.

I can't play music today. Mr B is home today taking his final exam and I'm being very, very quiet.

Maybe if I turn the volume down low....

I have my second piano lesson today. My assignment was to pick out a piece of music that focuses on a left handed melody. I picked the piano version of this.

@JPB,
Welcome back, Miss Squirrel. Love that one by Paul. That's the way to learn a language. Thanks for the "left hand melody" reminder. I recall when I was a wee thing learning this piano piece.

Tell Mr. B that I hope he aces his exam.
