Good morning, WA2K folks.

Rockymoose, I have really come to appreciate Mark. Thanks, Kansas.

Hey, Brit. Now we know the meaning of "fork it over". Glad Ares finally got off the ground, and thanks for the Star Wars theme.

Two songs for today, y'all.

First, this one inspired by Rockhead(aka Bullwinkle)

and, folks, since today is Otis Williams' birthday.

Ah, what a great way to start the day, folks.

Hey, Brit. Loved the jazz and sitar combo. I'm assuming Dr. Miller is the one on piano.

All you Need is Love is fabulous as well. Another combination of humor, celebs, and visuals to help kids in need.

Dear Izzie, Wonderful song from Seal. A Kiss From a Rose is perfect as I just peeked outside my wee studio and saw the green leaves of an old rose bush continuing to grow. Thanks, hun.

Jamie Cullen was fabulous. I remember him and that song as well.

Love all the contributions to our cyber radio station, and here's another. Don't know this guy, but today is his birthday.

Yep, Gavin, Love Remains the Same.

Diana should swing more often -- besides Michael Buble's version, and naturally Ole Blue Eyes, the third contender for the definitive "Fly Me to the Moon," and, man, can she twinkle on those piano keys!

I didn't realize, she's the producer of Streisand's new CD.

afternoon, edgar. That one by Matt is different from his regular style. Will always remember him as "the singing bus driver". Thanks, Texas.

Another birthday girl, folks. Love the mix of music that we have on our cyber radio.

edgar, loved the sitar treatment of Norwegian Wood. Also loved the one by The Beatles.

panz, Monster Mash is funny, but Tubular Bells from The Excorcist still gives me the willies.

Couple of songs, y'all.

First, from the movie The Lost Boys.

Had no idea that The Doors did this one.

Those three were in keeping with the situation, letty. I guess I am just not in a Halloween mood. I've barely thought about it this week.

Here is the theme and a tribute to a TV series called Hennesey. It starred Jackie Cooper. In the photos, Bobby Darin appears three times. The program aired when Mack the Knife was the number one song, and one episode was written for Bobby. He played an entertainer who wanted out of the military so that he could resume his singing career. At the end of that show, he performed Mack the Knife. It was a short-lived series, but my family loved watching it.

Good morning Ms Letty,Ed and all the WA2K peeps.
Just out of interest, the instrument the Iranian lady was playing in my post of yesterday was a Santur....
http://www.dejkam.com/music/iran_traditional/instruments/santur/
....which is their version of a Dulcimer....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFK7JsmWmMo
both beautiful sounding instruments but very rarely used in "todays" music.
