@Izzie,
Welcome back, Izzie. Is that a car or a horse? Love that song, and that's ok about the four letter word. As I told the mooseman, it's become rather common and has lost all it's shock value. I have a really good friend who lives in Northern Ireland.

er, Izz. Barry the Brit is in Paris, France. Not certain where the panz is.

One for Barry the Brit.

@edgarblythe,
Ah, edgar, you know how I love Marty Robbins. That one from San Angelo was great.

Sorry I missed it the first time around.

@Letty,
Ok, now I have caught up. Thinking of this was, Texas, and although I like it better by Marty Robbins, this is a new group to me.

@edgarblythe,
Sheeeze, folks, more trouble here in my wee studio.

edgar, I don't know Ersel Hickey, but I liked the "Blue Birds and Sea Gulls" song, buddy. Thanks for the introduction.

Well, y'all, it time for me to say goodnight, and I think I'll do another blue bird song. Don't know this guy, but he is truly good. Then I'll follow up with a song from Scottland and a bit of The Beach Boys.

First, Bluebirds.

Now, from two wonderful performers who are no longer with us, sad to say.

Goodnight world,

From Letty with love

I tried to figure out who sang about the bluebirds and white cliffs of Dover, but could not. I thought for a bit it could be early Sinatra, but I decided it was not.
I like the medley songs, letty.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, Yes, Texas, it is hard to believe that Graeme Connors is Australian, mate.

Loved that song, incidentally.Felicidad? Ain't that Spanish. Greetings and felicitations.

Welcome back, Brit, and I am amazed that your spy plane was about Francis Gary Powers. I think the guy was supposed to kill himself were he captured.

Here's one for the morning by Eric Clapton, y'all.

edgar, that was hilarious. Put the Lime in the coconut! Love it, Texas.

Reminds me of this one that is also funny, folks. Then, since it is Julie Andrews' birthday, one from The Sound of Music.

I thought I had heard all the songs from the Sound of Music, but don't recall that one.
The Kovacs routine was pretty neat.

Pat Boone and Shirley Jones sing from the movies.

@edgarblythe,
Really liked April Love by Pat Boone and Shirley, edgar. Didn't used to care for him, but as we have often noted; we change.

Tried to find Peggy Lee's "Songs were Made to Sing While we're Young" to match Pat's song. No luck, however.

Here she is with a great one, however.

I did some research on The Von Trapp family and found that the movie didn't really picture them properly.

I watched the old black and white movie about these people, but did not see The Sound of Music. I am a Peggy Lee fan from way back.

@edgarblythe,
Well, Texas, I certainly did NOT know that Peggy did that one. I recall that Willie Nelson did, however.

What a shock to find out that Peggy Lee starred in a remake of the Al Jolson story, edgar. She and Danny Thomas.

This has turned out to be a Peggy Lee day, folks.
