I could be wrong. I think Chances Are was Johnny's first hit record.
Got something instrumental here.

This was my AM station when I was 10 years old.Jack Alix(JA the DJ) was the premier jock in Arlington Virginia. This was his theme song:

Here's an air check...good times

You're right, edgar. That was Johnny's first big hit, and if I recall correctly, he became a millionaire.

Knew everyone of Jerry Lee's song and I noticed that he did Kansas City as well.

panz, that Johnny was really great. The Midnight song sounds so familiar. Like the strings in the background. There was one measure in there that reminded me of "...you better change your evil ways..."

Sorry, buddy, couldn't access your other dj.

Well we have a Jerry and two Johnny's how about another Jerry, y'all.

Jerry Reed is one talented guy and here he is doing Jim Croce.

Didn't know that you lived in Arlington, Va. panz

Nite, edgar. Thanks for the Sam Cooke song, buddy.

My word, Brit. You were a dj? fabulous and I love that song; even the harmonica.

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think that I shall do so with a Tennyson poem made into a lovely song.

I hope everyone sleeps well tonight; especially my kids.

From Letty with love

Morning WA2K radio audience.

Hey, Brit. Love that site and the hang drum song. One person referred to hang drumming as a sculpture in sound. Great observation.

edgar, True Blue Lou was fantastic. Never heard of Mae Barnes, but she does know how to swing. Thanks.

In searching out David Habbin, I ran across this song, y'all.

And here's another one about Autumn on a duet of acoustic guitars.

To quote Jerry Reed, "When you're hot you're hot" and it is "too darned hot" here
