@Rockhead,
My God, Rock. More tears. Martina likes to sing those lacrymose songs, right? Child abuse is a terrible thing, but the ending offered hope and a promise.

Remember the movie, The Boy Who Could Fly? Check out the story behind it, folks.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, the deluge came again, and I had to shut my equipment down. Hmmm, it seems that the rain dance really works.

Here is your song by Bob, Texas.

Hey, all, I think we have a photographer that rivals Ansel Adams. His name is edgar b.

Come and look and See.

Inspired by edgar's photo's, I am going to make this my goodnight song, y'all. Sorry that Hank Snow ain't singing it, but maybe some of you will know the lyrics in Spanish.

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle. I found the lyrics to go with Hank's song. The title was wrong.

Hank:

I'll find the lyrics in English tomorrow, y'all.

ALLA EN EL RANCHO GRANDE
ALLA DONDE VIVIA
HABIA UNA RANCHERITA
QUE ALEGRE ME DECIA
QUE ALEGRE ME DECIA

TE VOY A HACER TUS CALZONES
COMO LOS USA EL RANCHERO
TE LOS COMIENZO DE LANA
TE LOS ACABO DE CUERO

ALLA EN EL RANCHO GRANDE
ALLA DONDE VIVIA
HABIA UNA RANCHERITA
QUE ALEGRE ME DECIA
QUE ALEGRE ME DECIA

NUNCA TE FIES DE PROMESAS
NI MUCHO MENOS DE AMORES
QUE SI TE DAN CALABAZAS
VERAS LO QUE SON ARDORES

ALLA EN EL RANCHO GRANDE
ALLA DONDE VIVIA
HABIA UNA RANCHERITA
QUE ALEGRE ME DECIA
QUE ALEGRE ME DECIA

PON MUY ATENTO EL OIDO
CUANDO RECHINE LA PUERTA
HAY MUERTOS QUE NO HACEN RUIDO
Y SON MUY GORDAS SUS PENAS

ALLA EN EL RANCHO GRANDE
ALLA DONDE VIVIA
HABIA UNA RANCHERITA
QUE ALEGRE ME DECIA
QUE ALEGRE ME DECIA

Adios until tomorrow,

From Letty with love

@Letty,
Here they are, Miss Letty:

El Rancho Grande:

I love to roam out yonder,
Out where the Buff'lo wander,
Free as the Eagle flying,
I'm a-roping and a-tying,
I'm a-roping and a-tying.
Give me my ranch and my cattle,
Far from the great city's rattle;
Give me a big herd to battle,
For I just love herding the cattle.
I love to roam out yonder,
Out where the Buff'lo wander,
Free as the Eagle flying,
I'm a-roping and a-tying,
I'm a-roping and a-tying.
Give me my bridle and saddle,
And my old Pinto I'll straddle;
I'll get the cowboys a-riding,
Out where the rustlers are hiding.
I love to roam out yonder,
Out where the Buff'lo wander,
Free as the Eagle flying,
I'm a-roping and a-tying,
I'm a-roping and a-tying.
Sometimes the winter storms tearing,
Set all the cattle a-raring,
But when the winter is over,
We're sure enough in the clover.
Allà en el rancho grande,
Allà donde vivia,
Habia una ranche rita
Que alegre me decia,
Que alegre me decia.

Good morning, WA2K radio audience.

Hey, Rock. Martina most certainly has the pipes; thanks for that version of America, Kansas.

Welcome back, Brit. Never heard Mary Wells, but she is great. "play now pay later?" UhOh. and Marvin's Distant Lover was also new to your PD/producer.

I guess my favorite was the one you played by Celia Cruz's The Life is the Carnival." Reminded me of Miami Beach Rhumba and dear Eiremil. Hope he is all right.

Francis, welcome back to you as well. It is a delight to have our official translator here. Don't know why I know that song, but you just certified the lyrics in English. I think Freddy Fender did it as well. Gracias!

A couple of songs for this early morning, y'all.

First, a birthday boy, Buddy Guy.

Now, a most unusual version of the Miami Beach Rhumba.

Lady Diane is in the hospital this morning, she went into the emergency room last night with very low blood pressure, Hopefully I will be able to see her today and the docs will be getting her healthy again.

@dyslexia,
dys, was Diane on blood pressure medication? If so, she might have over done it.

I know that I got up one morning to check my glucose levels and the meter read 99. I instantly drank some orange juice.

Hypoglycemia or hypoglycaemia is the medical term for a state produced by a lower than normal level of blood glucose The term literally means "under-sweet blood" (Gr. hypo-, glykys, haima).

Being hypoglycemic is just as dangerous as elevated blood sugar.

Time for a doctor song.

Hee, hee. Glad Diane is home and stabilized
