letty, I like that Dean Martin song. Here is one by him that I had not heard before today.
Fly Like an Eagle is also a great song.

@edgarblythe,
Fantastic, edgar. Never heard that one either. I used to love espresso. Still have the machine to make it.

Well, I think this one is by the chairman of the board, but I'm not certain, y'all.

Yep; it's Frank. I have that on vinyl. I wonder if you know the other Chairmen of the Board?

Ray Stevens, no joke

Our area had less than a half inch of rain last month. As I've said before, we alternate between drought and floods, with no in between, ever.

The ZZ Top concert was great. But Edgar, we do have some rain here. Pouring for more than an hour during the concert. We were just standing there, soaking wet - but having so much fun!

@edgarblythe,
Thanks, edgar for the Chairman of the Board. Never heard them Texas, but neat.

Those Martin and Lewis immitators were funny, too.

Urs, Welcome back. I tried my best to find your kind of ZZ Top on Rockhead's music forum so I could come back with Latin George's ZZ's to Marvin Gaye and "Sunny". I had to settle for Sleepers Awake.

Hey, Brit. I adore flemco guitar. That was excellent. Ah, Paco de Lucia. Thanks London.

Urs, was the pouring rain anything like Purple Rain? Prince refuses to allow YouTube to play his songs now. Maybe he's getting a bit out of sorts since today is his fifty first birthday.

Hey, need to listen to Percy Sledge again. I like him.

So, while edgar waters his plants, here's some purple rain for him and Urs.

Thanks, mooseman. We'll dedicate La Grange to Soccer George. Hey, where's the squirrel? Also am concerned about the green sea turtle(yitwail).

Oops, Brit, that should have been flamenco guitar. Red rain by Peter Gabriel was great, too.

Ah, edgar, great tribute to Deano. Didn't Kris Kristofferson compose that one? I like "And I love her" by the Beatles as well. Sorry that I forgot to mention Ray Stevens' version of Misty. Funneeee.

The bearded guys from ZZ Top reminds me of Leon Russell as he got older,

Here's an earlier version of some of that wet stuff by him, y'all.

Bob Dylan wrote that Hard Rain song Leon Russell was singing, to voice his fears during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
