@Izzie,
Izzie, I had to go to your site to listen to your kitties. Love "Hey Jude" and thanks.

Time for me to say goodnight. Here's a bit about Raul Julia, y'all.

Death
In 1991, Juliá was diagnosed with stomach cancer, but he continued to perform. The illness began to take its toll on Juliá late in 1993, while he was in Mexico acting in one of his most memorable roles as Brazilian rainforest activist Chico Mendes in The Burning Season (1994), for which he posthumously won a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award. Juliá in fact kept his illness a secret almost until the day he died, explaining that his increasingly gaunt physical appearance was the result of a macrobiotic diet for acting roles. He denied rumors that he was suffering from cancer after a few of his friends anonymously told reporters the true nature of his condition. A little later after filming The Burning Season, Juliá traveled to Vancouver to star in the videogame-inspired film Street Fighter as the villainous M. Bison, for whom he used an English accent. The movie's ending credits began with the words "FOR RAUL. Vaya Con Dios" (Spanish, lit. "Go with God").

Tomorrow may be better.

letty, I like that Mouskouri girl. I have been relaxing the best I can this evening. Perhaps things may be normal tomorrow. Here is a song we used to listen to on the way to see my brother at Fort Dix.

YouTube is blocking all premium music videos to UK users after failing to reach a new licensing agreement with the Performing Right Society (PRS).

@Barry The Mod,

Old ones work, new ones are blocked, so it seems.

Okay for me, I don't like most new ones. Ha!!
Was watching Weather Report last night, that worked okay too.

BBC radio DJ Chris Moyles doing a spoof in aid of Red Nose Day.
Explanation for our Producer,RND is a national radio and TV fund-raising day where famous people do very silly things to raise millions of £'s for good causes.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

edgar, as you know I love Jim Croce's "Time in a Bottle". Thanks, Texas. Paul Butterfield's Blues was great. Never heard him.

Hey, McTag and Barry. Nice to see more Brits on board.

Islands in the Stream was funny, and what in the world is "Red Nose Day"? Have anything to do with brown? Razz

Fascinated with Tony Christie, y'all, so here is one by him.

Wild fires are raging here and smoke has settled over I-95 making it dangerous, but the full moon is setting outside my window surrounded by a ring of pale blue.

@Barry The Mod,
Morning Letty & WA2K

oh Letty - RED NOSE DAY is fabulous!

Bazza - have you got your red nose. Reckon we ought to post a pic a! Have 2 here which my neighbours little boy gave to me! Oooooooooooh..... can see a photo coming on. Letty - the pupose is to raise for money for Children In Need - they usually raise over £20million - every school, most work places, government agencies and JoePubli contribute in some way. Just a few pennies can make a huge difference to the children. We can get to look ridiculous in a really good cause. Have a photos from way back when... will see what I can find! (I mean....ridiculous - but such good fun - especially at school)!

Watch out watch out there's a Red Nose about! Razz
