My goodness, y'all, I missed Phil Ochs saluting Jim Dean. Thanks, Texas. You read my mind.

Izzie, you sleep well. I know you will, 'cause zz is your middle name.

Time for me to say goodnight, and although edgar saluted him earlier, today is his birthday, so here is a documentary of the legend.(in a coat he borrowed from James Dean)McLean second guessed us all.

And for the wonderful couples on our forum, a valentine song.

I came back with Perez Prado. I heard this song somewhere today, must have been a movie on TV.

I am as fascinated with James Dean as is the rest of the world. And the song by Natalie has been done well by many artists.

@edgarblythe,
Good morning WA2K radio audience.

edgar, Bud named one of our dogs Perez. Maybe it's because the little stray did a good imitation of the mambo. Thanks, Texas. You're right. Many musicians did "Our Love is Here to Stay." I just liked Natalie's version.

Just found out that the music behind James Dean's montage was the same one played behind Out of Africa. I will never understand why that long and rather boring movie beat out The Color Purple.

Today is Carole King's birthday, so let's hear a great one by that very talented lady.

edgar, That was an awesome song by Sophie Hawkins. Never heard her before. Thanks, buddy.

Well, there's our Raggedy all warm and snowless. Thanks, puppy, for the info and the sextet of famous faces.

My goodness, folks. Ronald Colman and Lost Horizon. That was remade with Peter Finch. Here is one of my favorite groups singing the theme. They were inspired by The Four Freshmen.

Mario always sounds great to me, letty. His partner has a great voice, but I think I prefer the solo version.
