Ah, puppy. Glad the sun is finally shining on you. Thanks again for that famous trio, and the added info. (Thinking of "Memories of You" and Eubie Blake)

Well, there's our Izzie playing Peggy Lee's song as done by Elvis. Great, hun. Also love Bon Jovi doing Leonard. You sound happy today. We all have our moments in the sunshine.

Speaking of Eubie, this one is fantastic, y'all.

@urs53,
Ah, dear Urs. Loved that one by the boss. Like Ice in the Sunshine is a great title, and that bunch looked as though they were having such fun. Wish I could be with you and bigdice.

Here are a couple of songs that I've been listening to, folks.

First, a great oldie by Michael Buble,

and supposedly, this is Billy Ray Cyrus.

@Letty,
Hmmm. Am I talking to myself again?

Time for me to say goodnight, and I found a new voice to go with this beautiful song.

@Barry The Mod,
Good morning, WA2K folks.

Hey, Brit. Loved that version of the Phantom of the Opera. Also like the movie version, and the cast of the Lion King was fantastic. I have never heard that one. I listened two or three times. Thanks, my cockney friend.

Today is John Williams birthday, so here he is in concert.

@Letty,
Hey Letty.....

lalalallaala....... don't have a song that I can think of to play right now - just checking in and saying howdy to everyone here. Am at a loss as to what to say as to what is happening Down Under - devastating for the country - and all the people who are involved. It's just so terrible and must be so frightening. Glad to hear our A2Kers checking in...

sending lots of love to you Letty and to the WA2K crew

smooches

x

@Izzie,
Izzie, it's always great to see and hear you on our cyber radio station. I realize what horror our down under friends are experiencing right now.

Since today is Sunday, and regardless of our beliefs, here is a lovely one by Thomas More. This one is for all of us who are undergoing trials, y'all.

This is not my preferred melody line, but the lyrics are perfect.

Often, edgar, it's the soul that grows weary and the body seems to follow. Thanks for the Buck and Don song, Texas. Yes, Love is Going to live here again.

dj, I love that song by Kris and the man in black. Interesting that Johnny overcame his problems by turning towards the light.

Speaking of problems, folks, here's a surprise concerning Whitney.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. " A stunning-looking and strong-sounding Whitney Houston made a triumphant return to the stage at a pre-Grammy party honoring her mentor, music mogul Clive Davis.
"I've got it, I've got it!" Houston, looking glamorous in a skintight leopard dress, sang early Sunday morning as she belted a line from one of her classic hits, "I'm Every Woman." But more than a lyric, it summarized to the crowd of A-list superstars and top industry execs that the superstar " whose drug use and erratic behavior had caused a shocking fall from grace just a few years ago " was back in top form.

@urs53,
Urs, that was hilarious. You Germans know how to play a song the right way. That's what I call, "hossin' around."

Ahem. Thinking about "Earth, Wind, Fire, and Rain". Guess what I'm gonna play, y'all?

@edgarblythe,
Love Hamp, edgar, and although I couldn't get your video to load, I did a search and found one that would, Texas. "...baby's in the corner blowin' his natural top..." is funny. Thanks!

Here's another one by the man on the vibraharp.

Doesn't matter what Hamp plays, letty. All of it is good. Here is my good night song. Done by an amateur, but written by Phil Ochs.
