And never brought to mind
Should auld acquaintaince be forgot
And auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

And surely you'll be your pint stowp
And surely I'll be mine,
And we'll drink a richt guid willy waught
For auld lang syne.

[chorus]

We twa hae run aboot the braes
And pu'd the gowans fine,
But we've wandered monie a wearie fit'
Since auld lang syne.

We twa hae paidled in the burn
Frae morning sun till dine
But seas a'tween us braid hae roared
Since auld lang syne

And here's a hand my trusty fere
And gie's a hand o' thine
And we'll tak' a cup o' kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

@Letty,
Happy New Year, Miss Letty.

I've been having fun watching all of the old B&W videos of PPM. I posted one the other day on Noel (Paul) Stookey's birthday. Here's another one my sibs and I used to sing.

Some disparage the parts played by Stymie of The Little Rascals, but I have always enjoyed him.

Hey, puppy. Thanks for the great quintet of famous folks and the additional info on the others. Best wishes to you, too, PA.

Hey, Canada. Great New Year's Day song by U2. Thanks, buddy.

edgar, I really loved Our Gang and recall Spanky M. singing "That Old Gang of Mine". Everyone loved Buckwheat and that dog with the black eye.

JPB, that song by Joe and the Fish (bass strings) was odd. For a second there, gal, I wondered if they were talking bass(fish) as opposed to bass fiddle. Thanks, Chicago.

Hey, edgar. I like this one by the X man.

Jerry Lee Lewis sits down with pen and paper. Somehow he manages to play his piano at the same time.

@edgarblythe,
love Jerry Lee, edgar, and I had no idea Hank died on this day. Cold Cold Heart was about his wife, right?

Here's my favorite, y'all, and we'll dedicate this to panzade. Hope he is all right.
