edgar, thanks for that funny Tim Conway clip. He was one hilarious guy. also enjoyed that one by Stan Kenton. Hmmm, I'm going to have to check out the big band era. For one, I like to know about the vocalists who were with his band.

alex, welcome back. It seems that Jerry Jeff Walker was the initial performer.I searched it out and that's what I found.

Well, y'all, I had no idea that Don Johnson could sing. Here's a great one by him.

The Apples In Stereo - Strawberryfire

Strawberry-design
In her mind Strawberryshine
Her mind is a plane or window pane
It's all the same
Coming up on on a song
she dreams along
Then she is gone
Her dream is a fire
a streaming choir
Strawberryfire

Took a trip on a stereo song
Drifting along with the radio on

Strawberry-surprise
Oh what lies beneath her green eyes
Her room I have seen
But I have not been
Into her dreams
Her dream is so sweet
It's all she needs
Just be a dream
Her dream is on fire
and shes so tired
Strawberryfire

Took a trip on a stereo song
Drifting along with the radio on

@Raggedyaggie,
Hey, puppy, thanks again for the info and the quartet of photos.

Noel Coward is funny, so let's hear this famous one by him. Glad to see that we got our BBcode back.
