@edgarblythe,
Love Marty Robbins, edgar. Nope, a train ain't a man. Never saw that movie, however.

Here's one that I don't quite understand, but Josh has a great voice, y'all.

@edgarblythe,
Forgotten that one, edgar. Thanks, buddy. Wonder how teardrops can be lonely? Thinking of "I'll Be There Before the Next Teardrop Falls."

Time for me to say goodnight, and I have been searching for this one, folks. Just found out that Elvis Presley did it as well.

@Letty,
As a child I knew someone that often tried to sing Rancho Grande. Thanks for the memory.

@edgarblythe,
Good morning, WA2K radio and edgar.

For some reason, I'm having trouble with the sound in my wee studio, so this will be a test, folks.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8tZO97uhyE&feature=related

And the lyrics as I recall having sung them at a piano bar here.

I'm goin' to Kansas City, Kansas City, here I come
Yes, goin' to Kansas City, Kansas City, here I come
They got a crazy way a-lovin' an' a I wanna get me some

I was standing on the corner, of 47th Street and Vine
Yeah, standing on the corner, of 47th Street and Vine
With my Kansas City woman an a bottle of Kansas City wine

Well I might take a plane, I might take a train
If I have to walk, I'm going there just the same
I'm going to, Kansas City, Kansas City, here I come
They got a crazy way a-lovin' an I wanna get me some
Oh yeah

Keep your hands off of her, don't belong to you
Keep your hands off of her, don't belong to you
She's mine all mine, no matter what she do
Well I might take a bus I might take a train
If I have to walk, I'm goin' there just the same

I'm goin' to Kansas City, Kansas City, here I come
They got a crazy way a-lovin' an I wanna get me some
They got a crazy way a-lovin' an I wanna get me some
They got a crazy way a-lovin' an I wanna get me some!
Yeah!

May need to call on our sound engineer.

@Letty,
I just listened to the song Letty. The lyrics to the song are a little different on you tube then what you posted. Real close though Smile

@TTH,
Hey, TTH. Still can't get the sound. Must be the atmosphere. I think the lyrics vary from time to time on many songs. Strange, however, that I can hear Kansas City this morning, but it doesn't work here on our little cyber radio station.

Anyone else having that problem? It may have to do with Flash Player.

@Letty,
Okay, Letty. Pump up the volume.

Today is Lee Greenwood's birthday, so here's one by him, y'all.

Good morning WA2K. Something very strange is happening. I posted a bunch of birthdays and some pictures and my reply didn't go through.

Let's see if this goes through.

Teresa Wright and Ruby Dee

Uh Oh. Teresa shrunk.

Well, anyway, have a good day. Very Happy

@Raggedyaggie,
hee, hee. Honey, I shrunk the kids. It's all right, puppy. Things will get bigger when we do this Hitchcock movie. (remember the music behind the big guy's TV presentation?)

Can't forget Ruby Dee, so here is one by that gal and the snakehandlers. My word, I sat on a jury in district court about a case dealing with snake handlers. Weird stuff, y'all, but Ruby is fantastic.

Who wouldn't love a voice like that. Great vocalist. Thanks, buddy.

You know, y'all, I must say that so many things inspire me to learn. That's what I like about our forum and this cyber radio station.

Time for me to say goodnight, and what better way to do so than with this jazz man.
