Hey, folks. Did y'all hear me groan over edgar's elementary observation?

Well, as usual, Dylan says it right, but in a cryptic way. Thanks, Texas.

Here's a song for one of my favorite actors on SVU. Guess who!

I wasn't aware that Munch had been slighted.

Smile

edgar, you have a terrific sense of humor. "munch a bunch of Fritoes-corn chips."

Time for me to say goodnight, and I am so glad that honu introduced me to this man. I do wish that he had lived in a later era.

The song is also referred to as music from beyond the moon, so for that reason, we'll think of our Noddy.

To Noddy

i'm glad you're enjoying Hartman & Coltrane's classic album. Mel Torme might have been the velvet fog, but Hartman certainly had a velvety voice, and Coltrane demonstrates his versatility with his lyrical playing, since he was more celebrated for his fiery, passionate performance.

here's a clip for Noddy.

Good morning, WA2K folks.

honu, I know that song, buddy. I guess Elvis was searching, too. Don't we all? Thanks and I know that Noddy will feel the strains of the music.

RH, I am so glad that we share things from your music and our cyber radio. That was a lovely song of joy by Janis. We also would like to thank Tai Chi for the contribution.

Well, the turtle man inspired me to play this one by the "velvet fog", so here's a ballad and a dance.

The storm will roll right over Tomball, looks like. So far, it is still a tropical storm. No rain or wind here, this AM. I will go to work, but may not stay all morning. If we lose power, naturally I won't post untill it gets restored. When Rita passed close to us, they lost power at the apartments, but my home didn't. One never knows, do one? as Fats Waller often said.

Thank you, edgar. Yes, we all have trials. A great song for our Noddy.

and a lovely poem of remembrance for her family and I'm certain that Noddy would feel this way.

Ah, The Man of La Mancha. Wonderful song, Texas. I like Roy's version of that.

Hmmm. Where are all the creatures, I wonder? No puppy; no hawk; no firefly.

Well, let's be upbeat. Today is Samantha Sang's birthday, and here she is accompanied by the Bee Gee's. (love her stage name)

That Samantha Sang song has some very personal memories for me. Back when it was done by Fleetwood Mac.

Penny Lane, by the Beatles.
I love dozens of these guys' songs. They do have several I don't care for, but that's so with every artist, I think.

Well, Texas, you'll have to tell us about those memories sometimes. It might be just the thing to help honu's RNA. Razz

Incidentally, Penny Lane is one of my favorites as well. Now there are just two of those bugs who got their name from Buddy Holly's "Crickets"

Well, it's Lonnie Anderson's birthday and I can't think of a better theme for her than this one.

Wonder what happened to all the folks from that radio station?

Wow, edgar, we're in sync today. It's Neil Armstrong's birthday, and incidentally, they're still saying that we didn't go to the moon. Noticed that Obama was extolling the virtues of NASA as well.

Love this gal and always will, so for you Neil
