Welcome back, Raggedy. We missed you yesterday, PA.

It seems to me that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle had an instance where he was trying to prove that faries really existed. Have to check that out, however.

Great montage, gal, and thanks.

Classical conditioning that didn't work, y'all. (cyrstal fix had nothing to do with it.)

edgar, I have a brief selection involving Poe's Tell-Tale Heart. It's perfect for Friday the 13th.

John of Virginia, there is no doubt at all that you are the REAL Johnboy Walton. Back in a minute with the theme from that series.

Incidentally, buddy, you looked wonderful at the gathering. Have you ever seen Poe's bedroom at UVA?

First the Poe Piece.

If you will notice, folks. RJB is the one in the middle on the back row.

We'll dedicate the Poe "eye" to Craven and hope that he lets us know about the wedding.

Poe's bedroom is on the West Range of the University of Virginia, incidentally.

edgar, I loved that song by Peggy Lee. I sang that, Texas, but a little more up beat.

Well, folks the "eyes" have it tonight, and here is one by Doris Day.

Keeping with that Eyes theme ....the late-'60s early/'70s Sand Fran group called It's a Beautiful Day - sings 'Girl with No Eyes'

Poe lasted only a semester or so at UVA. He spent a lot of time gambling and not much time studying, He was not very good at either gambling or studying. He spent a bunch of his time -and this is true- in my backyard.

I met Andy the last time I was in C'ville. Very Nice Guy and my daughter was thrilled with the signed BellaMorte poster I brought back with me.

Ragman, The Girl With No Eyes was lovely. Thanks.

RJB, Poe was too creative to study, and the gambling problem was simply a way to supplement his stipend.

Rock, Bella Morte is rather gloomy, but we all enjoyed it, buddy. The funny looks that one of the guys in the band gave the vocalist who was doing Earth Angel, made me smile.

JPB, You have been to Charlottesville? Fantastic. Virginia is a beautiful state.

Time for me to say goodnight, folks. It's waaayyy past my bedtime.

This one is perfect, and I like the jazz version.

I'll close my eyes
To everyone but you
And when I do
I'll see you standing there

I'll lock my heart
To any other caress
I'll never say yes
To a new love affair

I'll close my eyes
To everything that's gay
If you're not there
To share each lovely day

and through the years
the moments when we're apart
I'll close my eyes
And see you with my heart

Goodnight, all.

From Letty with love

Good morning, WA2K radio audience.

edgar and RH, I really enjoyed listening to Neil Young. Great performer, and I did a quick search and found that he is a Canuck. Love his style and his voice, y'all.

Well, it seems that today is Boy George's birthday, and here is one of his most popular songs.
