No! No! You Bozo. The other April Love. (Oh! ok Bob)

April Love

April love is for the very young
Every star's a wishing star that shines for you.
April love is all the seven wonders
One little kiss can tell you this is true.

Sometimes an April day will suddenly bring showers
Rain to grow the flowers for her first bouquet.
But April love can slip right through your fingers
So if she's the one don't let her run away.

Sometimes an April day will suddenly bring showers
Rain to grow the flowers for her first bouquet.
But April love can slip right through your fingers
So if she's the one don't let her run away.

Listeners, this is a wonderful opportunity to decide if we can spot the person by his postings:

I think that was Bob of Boston singing April Love.

And I do believe that our Raggedy was talking about her Mom rocking her to sleep to Al Jolson's April Showers.

Who is this:

Hello, Letty/Getty/Betty/Mary Custis Lee/?

And this:

It's simple: That's ipso facto.

and this:

No such thing.

and this:

I always wear my hat.

Under veil of night we can be who we really aren't.

Be ye Monger or be ye Jes

You've tried the best,
Now try the rest

I'm Hans Christian Andersen
I've many a tale to tell
And though I'm a cobbler, I'd say
I tell them rather well
I'll mend your shoes and I'll fix your boots
When I have a moment free
When I'm not other wise occupied
As a purple duck or a mountainside
Or a quarter after three
I'm Hans Christian Andersen, Andersen, that's me
I'm Hans Christian Andersen
I bring you a fable rare
There once was a table who said
Oh how I'd love a chair
And then and there came a sweet young chair
All dressed in a bridal gown
He said to her in a voice so true
Now I did not say I would marry you
But I would like to sit down
I'm Hans Christian Andersen, Andersen's in town
I write myself a note each day
And I place it in my hat
The wind comes by and the hat blows high
But that's not the end of that
For round and round the world it goes
It lands here right behind myself
I pick it up and I read the note
Which is merely to remind myself
I'm Hans Christian Andersen, Andersen, that's me
I'm Hans Christian Andersen
My pen's like a babbling brook
Permit me to show you, dear sir
My very latest book
Now here's a tale of a simple fool
Just glance at a page or two
You'll laugh ha, ha but you'll blush a bit
For you realize as you're reading it
That it's also reading you
I'm Hans Christian Andersen, Andersen, that's who
I'm Hans Christian Andersen
And this is an April day
It's full of the magic I need
To speed me on my way
My pocketbook has an empty look
And I limp on a lumpy shoe
Or if I wish I'm a flying fish
Or a millionaire with a rocking chair
And a dumpling in my stew
I'm Hans Christian Andersen, Andersen, that's who

<I've just started a thread on the 200th anniversary of the birth of HCA, and had to come by with this - I just LOVE that last line - I can just hear and see Danny Kaye declaiming>

What kind of freakish joke is this?

An Atookian goodnight:

Signing off with a smile,
Cause it's all been worthwhile.

The Magnificient Seven
Will all meet in heaven

A weather report
A suit and a tort

A joke of a sort
I'm listing to port.

The River
by Jacksoul
album: Resurrected (2004)

(you can listen to a sample of this, here ... http://www.vikrecordings.com/jacksoul/multimedia.html )

Looked out my window to the east this morning
To the east there was a big old cloud
This Hurricane had no name
But it was sure to tear house from the ground.

It would take children from their mammas
No this terror don't discriminate
But what's worse is the sickness it would leave behind
mistrust confusion and hate.

[pre I]
We all look for salvation in the seconds before the rain
Why not say a little prayer on any old lovely day?

[chorus]
Take me as I am. Take me to the promised land.
Never let me go. Never leave me lonely.
Take me to the river. Accompany me to heaven.
Every one will know that you're my one and only.

Little man why you play so hard,
Like no brother ain never gon' do nothing good?
It's such a shame when you act reckless
Like no one never found love in no hood.
Lord knows there are snakes in the water
And I've always had to fight for what's mine.
But I would never tell my daughter
Being black means going and killing my own kind.

[pre II]
I'm all about keeping it real and death is a part of life...
But as long as we're here walking around why we singing about trying to die?

[chorus]

(bridge)
It's gonna be alright
Just take my hand
We'll go together
No need to go far
What we've got right here
This is heaven

Yikes Bethie! I would never allow such weather to reach you in April, but I'm not Mother Nature, just the WA2K weather lady. That Mother Nature is a bitch, no doubt about it.

I love Jacksoul--never heard him before.

We have lots of wind and dust in ABQ, so our sinuses are miserable as are we.

Oh Letty, anything with snort-twirl has to be our very own ehBeth! THUD!

Couldn't sleep, so I tried to follow Panz's thread and explorer said "Out of memory --line five." I hope that's a trick as well. Now I got ants all over the screen.

this is serious, yawl. When that message comes on from explorer, my pc freezes up and I have to shut down. Will some one check and see if it's a trick or my pc?

Don't know anything about line 5, or a panzade thread.
