BioBob, thanks for the excellent background on the "leaplings". As for The Lone Ranger, I'm depending on my memory, but I think he was a real Texas ranger who made his mask from his dead brother's vest and then became a crusader. We are grateful once again for the things we learn from your celeb info.

Love your "Half Wit" anecdote, hawkman, and I could NOT guess the punch line. Hee, hee. I truly laughed at that one.

Here's one from Dinah and Mahalia that needs to be recognized by many in the world today.

Well, folks, there's our puppy with a quaint quartet plus one. Wow! (fans face) I could replay Hot Chocolate, but better not. Thanks, PA for the quick look at Antonio.

Here's one for the working stiffs.

Ah, what an evening it has been for your PD. I wish I had the strength to tell you all about my misadventures. Let's just say that I am happy to be here.

hbg, it is wonderful to hear bagpipes that aren't playing Amazing Grace. Thanks for the pint, my friend. Alas, I had to settle for a tall glass of ice water.

The Irish song was marvelous as well, and we all know they can hold their p's & q's

edgar, I have always wondered what the expression "salt of the earth" meant, but I think I understand. Great, Texas.

Of course, I recognize the colors of the clan as mine is black watch plaid.

As to Floyd , Bud worked with a man who played just like him. Thanks for the memory

Time for me to say goodnight, and I think I'll let James do it for me, folks.

Until tomorrow, then.

edgar, thanks for reminding us that Elvis was once well, healthy, and in good voice. Such a pity, right?

Speaking of night, folks, this is a cute song for the morning of March 1.

Love your sig line, edgar. Sorry to hear about that Brit, but I simply cannot recall having heard them.

Well, let's listen to them sing and stomp.

Hey, puppy. Great septet today, PA, and you are right. Lots of music from which to choose.

I sampled several pianists who played Chopin's Revolutionary Etude, but the dynamics were missing in two or three of them, so I chose this one to honor the man of Poland.

Yum, hbg, and that was a marvelous song about Polish sausage. I do believe that I have eaten some in a batch of hors d'oeuvres at some soiree. So many of our songs here have featured those who have passed on. Thanks, Canada.

The only tribute that I can pay to Javier Bardem is to let our listeners hear a song from the soundtrack of Collateral.

So, folks, here we go.

Ah, the demon drink, hbg. Love the traditional music of any country. Stange, I just heard from Dutchy and he has played a song or two for us, and dadpad has dropped in once or twice.

Hard to believe that Opie is 56, and I'm a bit surprised that our edgar hasn't played something by Harry Belafonte.

Love this one, folks, by Harry and Nat
