Good morning, WA2K folks.

Ah, Bob. lady lawyers do have a good swing, no? Thanks, Boston, and also a salute to you for all the wonderful bio's.

We shall await our Raggedy with her fabulous faces, but until then, here is a song from Joe and dedicated to Nair from the hawkman. Later, we will have a wonderful announcement to make.

You are so beautiful
To me
You are so beautiful
To me
Can't you see

You're everything I hoped for
You're everything I need
You are so beautiful to me
You are so beautiful to me

You are so beautiful
To me
Can't you see
You're everything I hoped for
You're every, everything I need
You are so beautiful to me

ARTIST: Ray Stevens
TITLE: Everything Is Beautiful

[Capo 5]

Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Red and yellow, black and white
They are precious in his sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world

/ C - - - / G C G - / C - / F C / C G C - /

{Refrain}
Everything is beautiful in its own way
Like a starry summer night
Or a snow-covered winter's day
And everybody's beautiful, in their own way
Under God's Heaven
The world's gonna find a way

/ C - Am7 - Dsus4 D7 - - / F G / F G C F C G / :

There is none so blind
As he who will not see
We must not close our minds
We must let our thoughts be free

/ C - G - / F - C - / :

For every hour that passes by
You know the world gets a little bit older
It's time to realize that beauty lies
In the eyes of the beholder

{Refrain}

We shouldn't care 'bout the length of his hair
Or the color of his skin
Don't worry about what shows from without
But the love that lives within

We're gonna get it all together, now
Everything gonna work out fine
Just take a little time to look on the good side, my friend
And straighten it out in your mind

{Refrain}

/ D - Bm7 - Esus4 E7 - - / G A / G A D G D A / :

Ah, edgar, That song by Ray may sound a bit syrupy, but I love it.

"A little child shall lead them". Thanks, Texas.

There's our Raggedy with her wonderful collage of famous folks. Thanks again, PA.

We're looking at Jimmy, George, Joe, and Cher. Quite a quartet, PA.

As promised, we have a wonderful announcement to make concerning our hawkman, and as is our wont, we shall do it via a song.

He's getting married in the morning! Ding dong!
The bells are gonna chime. Pull out the stopper!
Let's have a whopper! But get him to the church on time!
He's gotta be there in the mornin'
Spruced up and lookin' in his prime.
Bob: Girls, come and kiss me;
Show how you'll miss me.
But get me to the church on time!

Great big smile for our Bob and his Nair.

Actually, listeners. Tomorrow it will be the JP thing, and then on the 25th of this month, a more formal nuptial in Nair's church.

Got You on My Mind
Jerry Lee Lewis version

Got you on my mind feeling kinda sad and low
Got you on my mind feeling kinda sad and low
Wondering where you are wondering why you had to go

Tears begin to fall everytime I hear your name
Tears begin to fall everytime I hear your name
Since you went away darling nothing seems to be the same
[ piano ]
No matter how I try my heart keeps tellin' me that I can't forget you
If it should ever be that you wanna come back to Jerry Lee Lord I'm gonna let you
Got you on my mind...

Indeed, Raggedy, and I know our Bob appreciates our good wishes.

Well, folks, we announced the Turtles wedding here on our wee cyber radio, and now it's our Bob.

Here's a song to match edgar's, listeners.

This version by the man in black.

When you're all alone and blue
No one to tell your troubles to
Remember me, I'm the one who loves you

When this world has turned you down
And not a true friend can be found
Remember me, I'm the one who loves you

And through all kinds of weather
You'll find I'll never change
Through the sunshine and the shadows
I'll always be the same

We're together right or wrong
Where you go I'll tag along
Remember me, I'm the one who loves you

(And through all kinds of weather
You'll find I'll never change)
Through the sunshine and the shadows
I'll always be the same

We're together right or wrong
Where you go I'll tag along
Remember me, I'm the one who loves you
Remember me, I'm the one who loves you

Jerry Lee Lewis - Turn Around

When you're all alone and blue
And the world looks down on you
Turn around, I'll be following you

When you feel that love is gone
And you realize you're wrong
Turn around, I'll be following you

Turn around, I'll be walking behind you
With a love that's real and never, ever dies

When you feel your love will last
And you'd like to left the past
Turn around, I'll be following you

Maybe God will make you see
That your love is still for me
Turn around, I'll be following you

When you're in my arms again
There will never be an end
Turn around, I'll be following you

Turn around, I'll be walking behind you
With a love that's real and never, ever dies
If you feel your love will last
And you'd like to left the past
Turn around, I'll be following you

Remember Ricky, folks?

Ricky Nelson

I will follow you, wherever you may go
There isn't an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep me away

I must follow you
Ever since you touched my hand
That near you I always must be
And nothing can keep you from me
You are my destiny

I love you, I love you, I love you
And where you go I'll follow, I'll follow, I'll follow
You'll always be my true love, my true love, my true love
From now until forever, forever, forever

I will follow you
Wherever you may go
There isn't an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep
Keep me away, away from my love

I love you, I love you, I love you
And where you go I'll follow, I'll follow, I'll follow
You'll always be my true love, my true love, my true love
From now until forever, forever, forever

I will follow you wherever you may go
There isn't an ocean too deep
A mountain so high it can keep
keep me away, away from my love

And where you go I'll follow.........(fade til end)

congrats to Nair & Bob! if it's ok, a lil tongue in cheek dedication from moi by way of Waylon & Willie

A long time forgotten the dreams that just fell by the way
The good life he promised ain't what she's livin' today
But she never complains of the bad times
Or the bad things he's done, lord
She just talks about the good times they've had
And all the good times to come

(She's a good hearted woman in love with a good timin' man)
She loves him in spite of his ways she don't understand
(With teardrops & laughter they pass through this world hand in hand)
(A good hearted woman, lovin' a good timin' man)

He likes the bright lights and night life and good time friends
And when the party's all over she'll welcome him back home again
Lord knows she don't understand him but she does the best that she can
A-this good hearted woman, lovin' a good timin' man

(She's a good hearted woman in love with a good timin' man)
(She loves him in spite of his ways she don't understand)
(With teardrops & laughter they pass through this world hand in hand)
A good hearted woman, lovin' a good timin' man

(She's a good hearted woman in love with a good timin' man)
She loves him in spite of his ways she don't understand
(With teardrops & laughter they pass through this world hand in hand)
A good hearted woman, lovin' a good timin' man

He will love that tongue in cheek, Turtle.

Stereotyping is all over the forum, and I am afraid that I am guilty as I thought that because Nair was from Brazil, she must be Roman Catholic. She's NOT.

Another great song for the wedding, folks.

Can't Take My Eyes of off you
By: Frankie Valli

You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you

Pardon the way that I stare
There's nothing else to compare
The sight of you leaves me weak
There are no words left to speak
But if you feel like I feel
Please let me know that it's real
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you

I need you baby, if it's quite all right
I love you baby, you warm a lonely night
I love you baby, trust in me when I say, it's OK
Oh pretty baby, don't let me down I pray
Oh pretty baby, now that I found you, stay
And let me love you, oh baby let me love you...

You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you
You'd be like heaven to touch
I wanna hold you so much
At long last love has arrived
And I thank God I'm alive
You're just too good to be true
Can't take my eyes off of you

I need you baby, and if it's quite all right
I love you baby, you warm a lonely night
I love you baby, trust in me when I say, it's OK
Oh pretty baby, don't let me down I pray
Oh pretty baby, now that I found you, stay
And let me love you, oh baby let me love you...

Ozzie, the father, was a band leader. Harriet, the Mom, was a singer in the band. The big brother is David. His big shot at stardom was to appear in The Greatest Show on Earth, with Jimmie Stewart.

And Then Some
Ozzie Nelson

I think you're gorgeous, you're charming,
You're handsome, you're perfect and then some
You've got me dazzled and Frantic,
Excited, romantic and then some

I used to think I was cold as could be
But I'll agree the joke is on me
Quick as a wink I knew I had it bad
If love can drive you crazy
Then I wanna go mad, I wanna go mad
I'll kiss you, caress you
I'll spoil you and "yes" you, and then some

I'll be your shadow, your slave
Your army and navy and then some
I cross my heart I'll be yours from tonight
You've got me right under your thumb
'Cause you're gorgeous, you're charming
You're handsome, you're perfect and then some.

First We Take Manhattan
Leonard Cohen

They sentenced me to twenty years of boredom
For trying to change the system from within
Im coming now, Im coming to reward them
First we take manhattan, then we take berlin

Im guided by a signal in the heavens
Im guided by this birthmark on my skin
Im guided by the beauty of our weapons
First we take manhattan, then we take berlin

Id really like to live beside you, baby
I love your body and your spirit and your clothes
But you see that line there moving through the station?
I told you, I told you, told you, I was one of those

Ah you loved me as a loser, but now youre worried that I just might win
You know the way to stop me, but you dont have the discipline
How many nights I prayed for this, to let my work begin
First we take manhattan, then we take berlin

I dont like your fashion business mister
And I dont like these drugs that keep you thin
I dont like what happened to my sister
First we take manhattan, then we take berlin

Id really like to live beside you, baby ...

And I thank you for those items that you sent me
The monkey and the plywood violin
I practiced every night, now Im ready
First we take manhattan, then we take berlin

I am guided

Ah remember me, I used to live for music
Remember me, I brought your groceries in
Well its fathers day and everybodys wounded
First we take manhattan, then we take berlin

Thanks, edgar. I saw on the net that Ozzie and Harriet also did a radio show, so they are perfect here.

Like both of those songs, buddy, especially the one by Leonard Cohen.

Here's a lady that I discovered today, listeners.

Alicia Keys - When You Really Love Someone

...

Sometimes you're gonna argue
Sometimes you're gonna fight
Sometimes it's gonna feel like it'll never be right
But something so strong keeps you holdin' on
It don't make sense but it makes a good song

'Cause a man just ain't a man
If he ain't man enough

To love you when you're right
Love you when you're wrong
Love you when you're weak
Love you when you're strong
Take you higher when the world got you feeling low
He's giving you his last, cause he's thinking of you first
Giving comfort when he's thinking that you're hurt
That's what's done when you really love someone
I'm telling ya'll, I'm telling ya'll

I'm telling ya'll that a woman ain't a woman
If she ain't woman enough

To love you
Love you when you're right
Love you when you're wrong
To hold you
Love you when you're weak
Love you when you're strong
Take you higher and higher
When the world got you feeling low
She's giving you her best, even when you're at your worse
Even when you're at your worst, baby
Giving comfort when she's thinking that you're hurt
That's what's done when you really love someone
I'm telling ya'll, I'm telling ya'll
Mmm, mmm, yeah

I guess she told us, right?

One last item about Ozzie and Harriet. The radio show was the same show that they did on TV. The only difference between them, child actors played David and Ricky the first two or three years.

edgar, I hope you are well into writing another book as you know a tremendous lot about stuff.

Raggedy does as well, so I was looking for a song that goes something like this:

All the cowboys want to marry Harriet,
Harriet's handy with a lariat,
But she don't want to marry yet
She's having too much fun.
