A Polish man moved to the USA and married an American girl. Although his English was far from perfect, they got along very well until one day he rushed into a lawyer's office and asked him if he could arrange a divorce for him.
The lawyer said that getting a divorce would depend on the circumstances, and asked him the following questions:
Have you any grounds?
Yes, an acre and half and nice little home.
No, I mean what is the foundation of this case?
It made of concrete.
I don't think you understand. Does either of you have a real grudge?
No, we have carport, and not need one.
I mean. What are your relations like?
All my relations still in Poland.
Is there any infidelity in your marriage?
We have hi-fidelity stereo and good DVD player.
Does your wife beat you up?
No, I always up before her.
Is your wife a nager?
No, she white.
Why do you want this divorce?
She going to kill me.
What makes you think that?
I got proof.
What kind of proof?
She going to poison me. She buy a bottle at drugstore and put on shelf in
bathroom. I can read, and it say: "Polish Remover"

Well, folks. We know our Hawkman is through when he makes us smile. Haven't heard a Polish joke in a while, buddy, and I am pleased that we don't always have to be politically correct.
Incidentally, Boston, thanks again for the updates on the notables. We always learn something new about folks who are in the public eye. Rather surprised about Angelina Jolie, but that's Hollywood for 'ya.
Raggedy will probably be along shortly, and I always enjoy looking at her photo's as does everyone here.

Time Is On My Side
The Rolling Stones
Time is on my side, yes, it is
Time is on my side, yes, it is
Now you were saying that you want to be free
but you'll come runnin' back, you'll come runnin' back
you'll come runnin' back to me
Time is on my side, yes, it is
Time is on my side, yes, it is
You're searching for good times but just wait and see
you'll come runnin' back, you'll come runnin back
you'll come runnin' back to me
Go ahead..go ahead and light up the town
Baby, do everything your heart desires
Remember, I'll always be around
And I know like I told you so many times before
You're gonna come back, baby
You're gonna come back knockin' right on my door
Time is on my side, yes, it is
Time is on my side, yes, it is
'Cause I got the real love, the kind that you need
You'll come runnin' back, you'll come runnin' back
you'll come runnin' back to me
Time time time is on my side, yes, it is
Time time time is on my side, yes, it is

Well, apparently not, but in relentless pursuit I found this:
When the World was Young
It isn't by chance I happen to be, A boulevardier, the toast of Paris. For over the noise, the talk and the smoke, I'm good for a laugh, a drink or a joke. I walk in a room, a party or ball, "Come sit over here" somebody will call. "A drink for M'sieur, a drink for us all! But how many times I stop and recall.
Ah, the apple trees, Blossoms in the breeze, That we walked among, Lying in the hay, Games we used to play, While the rounds were sung, Only yesterday when the world was young.
Wherever I go they mention my name, And that in itself, is some sort of fame, "Come by for a drink, we're having a game," Wherever I go I'm glad that I came. The talk is quite gay, the company fine, There's laughter and lights, and glamour and wine, And beautiful girls and some of them mine, But often my eyes see a diff'rent shine.
Ah, the apple trees, Sunlit memories, Where the hammock swung, On our backs we'd lie, Looking at the sky, Till the stars were strung, Only last July when the world was young.
While sitting around, we often recall, The laugh of the year, the night of them all. The blonde who was so attractive that year, Some opening night that made us all cheer. Remember that time we all got so tight, And Jacques and Antoine got into a fight. The gendarmes who came, passed out like a light, I laugh with the rest, it's all very bright.
Ah, the apple trees, And the hive of bees Where we once got stung, Summers at Bordeaux, Rowing the bateau, Where the willow hung, Just a dream ago, when the world was young.
Fabulous!

The names of the tracks are: Exodity, mouthful of dynamite, and learn to smile.
Above each title there sould be the words "lytt" wich means listen, and "last ned" wich mean download. When you click one of them your media player should do the rest.

While we wait, folks, here's some astounding news, and remember, you heard it first on our radio:
Look what Neil Young has done:
Here, for the first time, the lyrics to Neil Young's "Let's Impeach the President":
Let's impeach the president for lying
And leading our country into war
Abusing all the power that we gave him
And shipping all our money out the door
He's the man who hired all the criminals
The White House shadows who hide behind closed doors
And bend the facts to fit with their new stories
Of why we have to send our men to war
Let's impeach the president for spying
On citizens inside their own homes
Breaking every law in the country
By tapping our computers and telephones
What if Al Qaeda blew up the levees
Would New Orleans have been safer that way
Sheltered by our government's protection
Or was someone just not home that day?
Let's impeach the president
For hijacking our religion and using it to get elected
Dividing our country into colors
And still leaving black people neglected
Thank god he's cracking down on steroids
Since he sold his old baseball team
There's lot of people looking at big trouble
But of course the president is clean
Thank God

G'day folks, or as they say down under
Hello Hooray
As recorded by Alice Cooper
Hello hooray, let the show begin, I've been ready
Hello hooray, let the lights grow dim, I've been ready
Ready as this audience that's comin' here to dream
Loving ev'ry second, every moment, every scream.
I been waitin' so long to sing my song
And I've been waitin' so long for this thing to come
Yeah I've been thinkin' so long I was the only one.
Roll out-roll out with your American dream and its recruits, I've been ready
Roll out-roll out with your circus freaks in wooly boots, I've been ready
Ready as this audience that's comin' here to dream
Loving ev'ry second, ev'ry moment, ev'ry scream.
I been waitin' so long to sing my song
And I been waitin' so long for this thing to come
Oh I been thinkin' so long I was the only one.
And I can stand here strong and thin
And I can laugh when this thing begins.
God I feel so strong, I feel so strong
I'm so strong, I feel so strong
I feel so strong, so strong
God I feel so strong
I am so strong, so strong, I feel so strong
I feel so strong, I feel so strong, I feel so strong
I feel strong, so, strong, yes I'm strong, feel so strong.

Well, there's our Try, and as they say here, "Y'all like Alice Cooper?" <smile> Thanks, buddy.
You know, folks, I think the only song that I have really heard by Alice is "Only Women Bleed". To me, it's a co-dependent type thing.
I really want to download, Cyracuz's songs, but it will probably take dialup Letty a while to do so.
Well, let's let Alice do his thang.
Man's got his woman to take his seed
He's got the power - oh
She's got the need
She spends her life through pleasing up her man
She feeds him dinner or anything she can
She cries alone at night too often
He smokes and drinks and don't come home at all
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Man makes your hair gray
He's your life's mistake
All you're really lookin' for is an even break
He lies right at you
You know you hate this game
He slaps you once in a while and you live and love in pain
She cries alone at night too often
He smokes and drinks and don't come home at all
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Black eyes all of the time
Don't spend a dime
Clean up this grime
And you there down on your knees begging me please come
Watch me bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed
Only women bleed

I think it's time to take the
Higher Ground
As recorded by Stevie Wonder
People keep on learnin'
Soldiers keep on warrin'
World keep on turnin'
'Cause it won't be too long.
Powers keep on lyin'
While your people
Keep on dyin'
World, keep on turnin'
'Cause it won't be for long.
I'm so darn glad He let me try it again
'Cause my last time on earth I lived a whole world of sin
I'm so glad that I know more than I knew then
Gonna keep on tryin'
Till I reach the highest ground.
Teachers, keep on teachin'
Preachers, keep on preachin'
World, keep on turnin'
'Cause it won't be too long, oh no.
Lovers, keep on lovin'
Believers, keep on believin'
Sleepers, just start sleepin'
'Cause it won't be too long, oh no.
I'm so glad that He let me try it again
'Cause my last time on earth I lived a whole world of sin
I'm so glad that I know more than I knew then
Gonna keep on tryin'
Till I reach my highest ground, whew.
Till I reach my highest ground, oh no
No one's gonna bring me down, oh no
Till I reach my highest ground
Don't you let nobody bring you down
They'll sho 'nuff try
God is gonna show you higher ground
He's the only friend you have around.

My Mamma would have loved Stevie Wonder, Try. So, since it is Sunday and since you reminded me of her:
I'm pressing on the upward way,
New heights I'm gaining every day;
Still praying as I'm onward bound,
"Lord, plant my feet on higher ground."
Refrain
Lord, lift me up and let me stand,
By faith, on Heaven's table land,
A higher plane than I have found;
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.
My heart has no desire to stay
Where doubts arise and fears dismay;
Though some may dwell where those abound,
My prayer, my aim, is higher ground.
Refrain
I want to live above the world,
Though Satan's darts at me are hurled;
For faith has caught the joyful sound,
The song of saints on higher ground.
Refrain
I want to scale the utmost height
And catch a gleam of glory bright;
But still I'll pray till Heav'n I've found,
"Lord, plant my feet on higher ground."
Refrain
lachrymose Letty again. <smile>

It's time to take the
Walk Of Life
Dire Straits lyrics
Here comes johnny singing oldies, goldies
Be-bop-a-lua, baby what I say
Here comes johnny singing I gotta woman
Down in the tunnels, trying to make it pay
He got the action, he got the motion
Yeah, the boy can play
Dedication devotion
Turning all the night time into the day
He do the song about the sweet lovin woman
He do the song about the knife
He do the walk, he do the walk of life
Here comes johnny and hell tell you the story
Hand me down mu walkin shoes
Here come johnny with the power and the glory
Backbeat the talkin blues
He got the action, he got the motion
Yeah, the boy can play
Dedication devotion
Turning all the night time into the day
He do the song about the sweet lovin woman
He do the song about the knife
He do the walk, he do the walk of life
Here comes johnny singing oldies, goldies
Be-bop-a-lula, baby what I say
Here comes johnny singing I gotta woman
Down in the tunnels, trying to make it pay
He got the action, he got the motion
Yeah the boy can play
Decidation devotion
Turning all the night time into the day
And after all the violence and double talk
Theres just a song in the trouble and the strife
You do the walk, you do the walk of life

Priests - Judy Collins (written by L Cohen)
And who will write love songs for you
when I am lord at last
and your body is some little highway shrine
that all my priests have passed,
that all my priests have passed?
My priests they will put flowers there,
they will stand before the glass,
but they'll wear away your little window lawn
they will trample on the grass,
they will trample on the grass.
And who will aim the arrow
that men will follow through your grace
when I am lord of memory
and all your armour has turned to lace,
and all your armour has turned to lace?
The simple life of heroes,
and the twisted life of saints,
they just confuse the sunny calendar
with their red and golden paints,
with their red and golden paints.
And all of you have seen the dance,
that God has kept from me,
but he has seen me watching you
when all your minds were free
when all your minds were free.
And who will write love songs for you ...
My priests they will put flowers there ...

Dark Eyes - B Dylan
Oh, the gentlemen are talking and the midnight moon is on the riverside,
They're drinking up and walking and it is time for me to slide.
I live in another world where life and death are memorized,
Where the earth is strung with lovers' pearls and all I see are dark eyes.
A cock is crowing far away and another soldier's deep in prayer,
Some mother's child has gone astray, she can't find him anywhere.
But I can hear another drum beating for the dead that rise,
Whom nature's beast fears as they come and all I see are dark eyes.
They tell me to be discreet for all intended purposes,
They tell me revenge is sweet and from where they stand, I'm sure it is.
But I feel nothing for their game where beauty goes unrecognized,
All I feel is heat and flame and all I see are dark eyes.
Oh, the French girl, she's in paradise and a drunken man is at the wheel,
Hunger pays a heavy price to the falling gods of speed and steel.
Oh, time is short and the days are sweet and passion rules the arrow that flies,
A million faces at my feet but all I see are dark eyes.
