Hi beh_03 welcome to A2K

Need you to do a few thing here please,
1 - Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it HJT
Please drag HJT into it please
2 -Click on Start.
Click on Settings.
Click on Control Panel.
From the Control Panel, double-click on Add/Remove Programs.
Click on the Install/Uninstall tab in the Add/Remove Programs Properties window.
Locate the following
Viewpoint Manager
and select it.
Click on the Add/Remove button.
After removal of software, you may be prompted to reboot.
Do so.
Reboot even if it doesn't ask you to
3 -Please restart HJT put a check next to the following, close all open windows and click "Fix Checked"

Your very welcome, your log looks clean now !
How is the computer running ?
Download the following programs, For keeping crap off your system to begin with
Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests. Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox. Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Download Spyware Blaster and SpywareGaurd
Check for updates after you install them, And check weekly as well
Keep Ad-aware and Spybot handy, Check them for updates and run them weekly
Same with your Anti Virus,

Be sure and give the Temp folders a cleaning out now and then as well, Make sure after you clean your Temp files to empty out your Recycle bin as well.

Remeber to Check Windows for updates

Let us know if you have any further problems

This is a nightmare...I found this site from Google.

An offer Optimzier ad just popped up as I am writing this message!

This one won't go away even after running SpyBot and Adaware SE

What's these log files all about? I don't understand what you are posting here...maybe someone could explain?

Thanks.

Hi Webster and welcome to A2K.
A HJT log will show us whats running in your start ups, Some good some bad, But it helps us to identify the malware. spyware and such,

Please go Here and unzip the newest version of HJT into a new dedicated folder,
Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it hjt. Unzip HijackThis into this folder. Launch Hijack This, then press Scan, and press Save Log
This will generate a text file that will list all running processes, all applications that are loaded automatically when you start Windows, and more.
Most things are harmless and needed so don't make any changes.
post a log in a new thread please

It feels like it's fixed...I haven't seen any ads pop up so far.

I didn't see "C:\WINDOWS\system32\twkttf.exe" when I booted in safe mode so I only deleted the second file.

Here's what the log file looks like after the reboot:
