You never knew how much she missed you
She waited at your corner every day
Only to see you with her the enemy
And you smiled as you walked by as if forever never happened
You didn't know it was tearing her up from the inside
How could you possibly know?
You were blinded by a new love
To the extent to let everyone else know
As she sits in the dark,
All Alone.
Crying for the love she once had.
Knowing you don't fully understand
The pain behind her pale smile.
This is driving her insane.
To know that she was once
Your one and only.
To now know
