Ok.. So I had one outlet in a wall that had two 12/2 wire sets come into it... I expanded the box to have that outlet and a new switch. The switch wiring was ran to an outdoor light. So, what I wanted to do is have the switch "jump power" off the outlet and control the outdoor let. How do I do this?????? I initially wired it wrong I'm pretty sure as the light was always on and the switch didn't control it. but I need to know how to make this happen. The outlet needs to remain hot and the switch needs to control the outdoor light. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipM-BnwSGH-Qsy3y9CSX2whuKTAFam8gAK4db3rUBWcedEuSJWxsP-vBVMacMqDAtQ?key=U0Q2c2Z6ejNObFp5LTVIV2pTOHNUOWYxTXFjTkdn

@Dxsley,
I am not an electrician but what little electrical wiring I know it seems per your photo you have two neutral wires (white) connected to the bronze connector (hot). I was told that outlets have a bronze screw (hot) and a silver/chrome screw (neutral) (one pole). A two pole would have two bronze screws (on one side) and two silver/chrome screws (on the other side). I could be wrong.

When I install electrical outlets in parallel I use the two pole outlets.

@Dxsley,
SO from the looks of it u have a single pole switch so wat u would have to do is run a hot wire from the bottom of the switch make a pig tail and have one wire go to the outlet then the other part of the pigtail connect to the outdoor light
