Broken chord, or cord,
harmony of harps,
a simple plucking of the strings.
1-3-5
pounded
in major-domo
hurts the ears.
Meanwhile,
a woman in white
is caught
walking
between the raindrops in Venice,
smiling.
You write subtle and nice!
Meanwhile this woman in white couldn't probably walk between the rain drops as long as she is real.
Thanks Francis! "Walking between the raindrops" is sort of a Taoist theory/saying, meaning "living in the moment", and letting things go.
Actually, a better explanation would be this: "If you don't like the rain, walk between the raindrops."
This forum is amazing! I'm allways learning!
seems like an ode to Letty :-)) very nice
Thanks willow. It's an ode to living, and Letty has already seen it, lol.
A masterful piece, as always. I understood the 'between the rain' piece, but I can see where others wouldn't. It is the stuff of high-order poetry and needs no further discourse (except at the end of your first book, as I did with VoP :-))
Well done Cav!
Thanks kelly, for the comments, and all the advice while A2K was down.
Well, Cav knows that I loved the last stanza, Willow.
Kelly, I swear Cav and I are going to review your VOP. How would you like it; Once over easy or straight up?
The brutal truth! I'm a soldier and I request no blindfold :-)
walking in between the rain drops even though it is ment as a saying
is a perfectly lovely idea if you take it litterally
Thanks, misfitgirl. I suppose as an idea it could be taken both ways. Okay, I shall not lie, it was meant that way, idea and literal image.
