Excellent! That was a great find - unfortunately it is only listed in the MWUD (Merriam Webster Unabridged Dictionary), not in the MWOD.

You had me going there for a while, Mark. 156 with SUSURRUS was the highest scoring word I could find in the Merriam Webster Online Dictionary (MWOD)

Oh! So if MWOD refers to MWUD, that doesn't count?

In that case, some of the others I listed may fall into that category.

How do u get to MWOD? I think ive been using MWUD on www.m-W.com.
Well I think that conundrum #9 is smectite if it is from MWOD.

The on-line dictionary (MWOD) is at m-w.com
You can get to the unabridged dictionary (MWUD) from there, but you have to subscribe to it.
