To tell the truth, I looked my word up in Merriam Webster after I posted my other message and it doesn't appear, so for me it's back to square one. As to the "less" words, no I don't believe it will be one of those.

Here is CONUNDRUM #5 - it is has the LOWEST Total Value that I can find in the Merriam Webster Online Dictionary:

Here is CONUNDRUM #6 - it is has the HIGHEST Total Value that I can find in the Merriam Webster Online Dictionary:

_ _ _ _ R _ U S with a TOTAL VALUE of 156.

There is a higher Total Value of 170, which is the highest I am aware of for an 8-letter word, but unfortunately it doesn't appear in the Merriam Webster Online Dictionary.

OK, I was hoping for one more word to solve before the Christmas break but it looks like it will have to wait till next year.
