do I restore my computer to an earlier time? I ask because something on my computer is preventing me from accessing a banking site that worked fine up till a week ago. I know it's my computer because I accessed the site successfully from a different computer yesterday. It appears there is something in the banks security system that sees something in my computer it doesn't like. I tried uninstalling Spyware Doctor in case it was preventing the bank's cookie from loading or something but to no avail. Thinking that restauring to an earlier point might work...?

If you are using Windows XP and have System Restore activated you can try to "roll back" your system to a previous state using that.

Boot up your PC off the Windows XP CD and select the restore option and follow the on screen steps.

If you do not have restore activated then you cannot "roll back" the changes.

Any probs or questions let us know.

I think that if you have XP. there is an easier way. Go to Start>Programs> Accessories>System tools> System Restore. Then just follow the directions. Good Luck!
