Strange Notice on my Computer

I was happily surfing A2K, when all of a sudden this pops up on my screen. It was all black, with green writing.

Edit (Moderator): Hacker greet removed

What the hell is this about? I have a firewall, updated anti-virus, Ad-Aware, Spybot Search and Destroy.

I'd say the site has been hacked. It's not your problem, it's the site admins...

I've just noticed that the quick reply box at the bottom of a thread has disappeared as well.

Seems that we have problems... Big ones...
I think it's only the startpage, but still, I don't feel too good about it...
Craven! Wake up!

I'm also getting this message when I attempt to log on and have lost the quick reply box. I had to get into A2K through google.

Same here. Went to www.able2know.com, got that page as well. Only way I got in anyway is by opening up my History and clicking on a random a2k thread in there. But the homepage itself seems hacked.

I was denied access for most of the morning but have no trouble now. A2K was also prompt in replying when I reported a problem. All in all a good show on the part of the staff.

Phoenix,

I'd rather not give the hackers' "greets" any endurance.

It's online graffitti that thrives on attenion.

Craven-Sorry 'bout that. When I first went online A2K was fine. Then I saw the message, and I still was able to get on the site. I wrote up the Q because at the time, I thought that I might have been hacked. Afterwards, I was not able to get on the site at all, but simply got the message.

If I had originally thought that it was a problem with A2K, I would have placed the Q in "Forum Help" rather than where I put it, in "Computers". Actually, I was close to having a major league hissy fit, until I realized that I had no problem on any other site but A2K. ........................And finally it dawned on me!

No biggie, I was just going to ask you to remove it, then I saw that in the greet there were encryption keys posted so I went ahead and removed it as I didn't know whose keys the hacker had posted.

If you came in through the home page please let me know approximately what time that was (that you noticed problems). It will help me by narrowing down many thousands of log file lines for some things I am researching.
