Ok. I did everything you asked. I did not find; C:\WINDOWS\system32\zoklcc.dll [/B]and C:\WINDOWS\system32\oxtqki.exe

but found everything else. Thanks for your help. Here is my new log:

Hi again doomsday74

You need to get HJT out of the Temp Folder it's sitting in Please.
Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it hjt.
Drag HJT into it please

Lets try this a little different,

Reboot to safe mode ( By tapping the F8 key on start up) Make sure you can view all Hidden Files/Folders search for and delete the following in BOLD
C:\Program Files\Ebates_MoeMoneyMaker\EbatesMoeMoneyMaker0.exe Delete Folder
EbatesMoeMoneyMaker1.exe Search for this one if found delete the folder
Please restart HJT put a check next to the following, close all open windows and click "Fix Checked"

Restart your computer and post back a fresh log please,

Ok. I did everything you asked. I thought Hijackthis was in my C:\HJT folder but it kept opening in a temp folder from there. I moved it over to C:\HJT after it opened. I will continue this thread, I have never really used a forum like this before so I have a little learning to do.

Good job doomsday, Your log looks clean now,

However you do have 2 Anti Virus programs running, Not a good idea as this will likely cause you some conflicts,
I would suggest removing one of them, Whichever one you decide to keep, Be sure and keep it updated,

Download the following programs, For keeping crap off your system to begin with
Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Download Spyware Blaster and SpywareGaurd
Check for updates after you install them, And check weekly as well

Keep Ad-aware and Spybot handy, Check them for updates and run them weekly
Same with your Anti Virus,

Be sure and give the Temp folders a cleaning out now and then as well, Make sure after you clean your Temp files to empty out your Recycle bin as well.

Remeber to Check Windows for updates

Thank you very much. This is a great forum. I uninstalled Mcafee because I update Nortons every year. I will install in the suggested programs. Why does this junk install so easily on my puter but is so difficult to remove?

Cause thats how they want it to be,
Have to be careful of what your downloading and where your going,

Install the programs above and run Ad-aware and Spybot along with your Anti Virus updated.
You should be pretty well protected,
Not to say you wont get infected again,
But at least now you have some protection.

Sorry to interrupt, but this adware is killing me!
Okay, so by the name, we've determined that I'm not as computer literate as the rest of you guys seem.

I have the same bloody hijacker on my computer. Always begins with "xadsjt", and no matter what program I run, both earthlink's spyware tools, spyware blaster, and the anti-hijacker program, nothing can get it off my system. I dug through the files, and found nothing that resembles the highjacker program.

I'm pulling my hair out. Please help me.
