'Experts: Lack of warning at dam raises alarms' [AP, Victorville Daily Press June 2] triggers my reaction to such reports: Who'd build his house downstream of a dam? Either nobody told 'em or they didn't have much choice, since the US is so so overpopulated.
I don't think the USA is overpopulated. The population density of the world is 129 people per square mile of land, and the US is only 86. Of course, we have the most square feet in our houses, so there's that.
