Through different eyes

I'm just trying to make something out of this, either i'm not feeling the right emotions or i'm just trying to force something that isn't there. I'm posting this anyway so I can fix it as I feel it. Thanks for reading!



If I can't see the sunshine
through all the clouds and rain
Then I don't understand you
because I don't feel the same.

You know I look around
and see nothing but hate.
You've tried to teach me love
but it's way too late.

You see people laughing
and having a great time.
I see that they're hiding
what they cannot leave behind.
