Spybot S&D questions--how to stop the popup messages?
I have the newest version of Spybot Search & Destroy. I've heard so much good about this program, and I guess it is good since it's eliminated all the spyware and stuff.
However, most of the time when I open an internet page (esp. on BBS sites like this one) it pops up a "Yes" or "No" box to the effect of:
"S&D reports that you want to download "Doubleclick." This is a known threat. Do you want to BLOCK this download?"
Well, of course I want to block it, so I click "Yes."
But then that same window pops up every time Doubleclick (or other cookie with its respective warning) tries to download.
I looked all through Spybot's program, and can't find a way to turn these popup warnings off.
Is there a way for Spybot to warn me once, then just go ahead and block each occurance without stopping my browsing every single time the spyware attempts to download?
Please help!
Thanks,
General Tsao
Good day GeneralTsao
Open Spybot, Click on the Immunize button, On the bottom of the page is a drop down, Open it highlight " Block all pages silently "
Close the program and see if that helps,
Lets us know how you make out
