Somewhere.
Where would they be?
Who saw them last?

I just caught the end of this discussion. I really thought that you two were talking about brassieres! Confused

Oh my!

DON'T get me on underwires!

Either they break in the middle and stab me in the middle lower breast, or they work their way out, and stab me under the arm.

Then I have to take one out.

And THEN where am I?

LOPSIDED, that's where I am.

LOP **** SIDED!

Catching up on the (for me) overnight action on the thread, I suddenly realised I have never smoked an underwired bra in my life!

What have I been missing?

littlek's lost left underwire.

I think one of Setanta's socks mated with it, and they ran away together.

Nah.....you are both known equally.

But the underwire has some extra oddness value.

Take 'em out of the glass and give 'em a mighty good shake.

um, uh, Confused I was, er... a... looking for my scarf? Yes. That's it, I was looking for my scarf...no wait, better make it a pair of gloves. Yes, I was looking for my pair of woolen gloves and happened across littlek's garments and....I um, was checking the material to make sure the right fabric softener had been used when I heard a noise, which of course caused me to turn my head rapidly at which point the wire became caught in my beard and while trying to get free the phone rang and I became more entangled and then the wire pierced through the fabric and somehow got caught in my teeth... and all because I was looking for my sweater.

Um, I mean gloves.

(I hope someone buys this tale...maybe I should have gone with the story about selecting an outfit for my Snow-woman when I build her as part of a snow family...nah, even I wouldn't go for that story)
