I think kicky may be my Easter avatar this year.
I couldn't decide between the Vegreville egg and last year's Pooh, so Kicky it is.

What I wanna know, is why am I suddenly having urges to post really improbable stories.

Yep, I'm hung over, but I feel good too. My one buddy who was with us was so f*cking funny last night...until he puked, of course. After that he was only mildly amusing. But this guy...when he gets going, he's like a stand-up comedian. And if you add a lot of alcohol to the equation, forget about it...the things he comes up with are just classic.

I won't go into all the details, but here's a few highlights.

We went to many, many bars on the lower east side...hit on many many girls who were completely uninterested...we met a couple of black girls whom my buddy talked into smoking the last bit of pot that they had with us, and then went to a dance club with them for a little while...that part of the night was absolutely surreal...we met and got a drink with another couple of girls who were just so cute and smart and fun...that was just like being in heaven...we went to Lucky Cheng's...a karaoke bar with drag queens, where we saw a girl do Janis Joplin better than Janis Joplin...I'm not kidding, I never heard somebody do the screams in "Take another little piece of my heart" better than Janis, but I saw it last night...we went to Mars Bar...there were only about eight people there, but that place is the most beautiful shithole I've ever seen. ehBeth, I think you might have to go there for a drink with me when you get here...if I could only remember where the hell it is...anyway, that was my night.

Naaah, I don't have the energy or the mental acuity to go into it all right now. It was really fun though. It just seemed like an endless string of little adventures--each one better than the last.

I actually went out. My housemate was called out by a girlfriend of hers. NOt my scene, but it was fun to be out and about.
