We'll wait for Craven to explain. He doesn't want me to make wild guesses.
I would suggest that one of you open another thread. I think when a forum help thread is marked "closed", Craven does not look at it any more. I too noticed the same sort of slowness this morning.
Interesting tidbit about Ad-Aware, they just stopped supporting V6, and are now promoting Ad-Aware SE. I downloaded it, updated the reference file, ran it, and found 48 things lurking on my PC. Suggest you do so as well.

I just got AdAware SE, updated, and it works. There was a ton of stuff there I got rid of. Spybot may be a better program, but their updates are slower.
Back on topic, I noticed last night that A2K was slow, but it's fixed now, hence 'closed' topic.
A short time ago I received a "critical error" message while trying to use the New Posts link. But it's working now

Thanks for the link. Just downloaded it & discovered 14 thingies, myself.
The damndest thing is that I'm behind a firewall at work. I don't visit that many different sites (I'm here alot, then Ted's site, Google, and a few online news sources). And I run Spybot and Ad-Aware regularly. This stuff sucks.
