There are 2 and only 2, all encompassing aspects of life and living that I have learned:
They are - "Life" - and - "Living."
Throughout both and all, there is only one constant that affects both, either separately or both combined. It has existed before we were. It has existed throughout the entire appearance of mankind and will exist long after the memory of our existence expires.
This constant has not, cannot and will not alter to its opposite, even to the most miniscule degree.
This "constant" is - CHANGE.
This constant affects us whether or not we accept it, reject it or run to it or from it.
To accept change that stems from a source that existed before our imagination began, is only the first step toward eternity - depending on the strength, character and determination of the soul to never stop advancing toward it.
For those who may consider stopping to advance toward the source of eternity, may question - "Where are those now who in the past did stop?"
They are gathered at the end of wherever the wind ends.
If the search to find the end of the wind is the lifelong desire of anyone - when they do find the end of the wind, which by its may nature disappear - and all those who quit, whose soul's exhalation also disappears - may as well, at that moment - say to them -
"Make room. Here am I."
Truman, I think your creation is unique, and I like it. Read it several times and I was caught up in the line.."where the wind ends"
